I’m thrilled to be able to announce the birth of our daughter, [name_u]Lou[/name_u] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]. She was born last Thursday, and she has the reddest hair I’ve ever seen! Big brother [name_u]Jem[/name_u] [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] said she’s okay.
[name_u]Lou[/name_u] is simply a name we love, and [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] is after my husband’s grandmother [name_f]Maggie[/name_f] as well as my aunt, who was [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalene[/name_f] in one of the first stage adaptations of [name_m]Jesus[/name_m] [name_m]Christ[/name_m] Superstar. We are so glad we were able to honor not one but two wonderful women with our daughter’s name.
Congratulations! Her name is not only lovely (I think [name_u]Lou[/name_u] compliments [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] beautifully) but it fits with her brothers’ perfectly! Wish you all the best.
