Definitely!! Especially if you just call her [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] or [name_f]Evie[/name_f] (or anything but [name_f]Gen[/name_f]).
I think that’d be a truly sweet connection for a mother and daughter to have. Though two [name_m]Jens[/name_m] or Jennys would be a little much.
For sure! If you’re called [name_f]Jen[/name_f] or [name_f]Jenny[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] can go by [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] or [name_f]Evie[/name_f]!
With a different nickname, yes.
I think it works if the nicknames are very different. My mother is a [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] who goes by [name_f]Jen[/name_f] or [name_f]Jenny[/name_f], my DD2 is a [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] who goes by either her full first name or more often than not [name_f]Evie[/name_f], they spend a lot of time together and there is very little confusion.
Of course it’s okay.
Absolutely! [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is gorgeous and has several other nickname options besides [name_f]Gen[/name_f] or [name_f]Genny[/name_f] or [name_f]Ginny[/name_f]. [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Vivi[/name_f], [name_f]Viv[/name_f], [name_f]Viva[/name_f] come to mind.
Like others have said, I think it would be a sweet connection between mother and daughter. And the great thing about [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is that there are so many great nicknames she could go by. My personal favorites are [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Gigi[/name_f], and [name_f]Viv[/name_f].
I think it’s completely fine (pretty adorable, in fact!), but I agree that I’d just opt for a different nn. I think [name_f]Evie[/name_f]/[name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Neve[/name_f], or Vieve would all be gorgeous.
