Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's third

The couple is expecting their third child, along side of sisters [name]Violet[/name] [name]Anne[/name] and [name]Seraphina[/name] [name]Rose[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. They were ahead of the curve with [name]Violet[/name], and really ahead of the curve with [name]Seraphina[/name]. [name]Both[/name] of these beautiful names are whimsical and feminine . . . What do you think they will choose for their third . . . If they have another girl? Or if they finally have a boy?

By the way, I imagine if they have another girl they will continue with a classic, underused feminine name . . . Some names that come to mind are [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Cordelia[/name] . . . Maybe [name]Gwendolyn[/name] or [name]Isadora[/name] . . . If they have a boy, I’m thinking [name]Jasper[/name], [name]Philip[/name], or [name]Felix[/name]. I may be [name]WAY[/name] off . . . But it’s fun to speculate.

Please don’t let them use [name]Walter[/name]…please don’t let them use [name]Walter[/name]…

I agree with classic, feminine, underused! [name]Helena[/name], [name]Gwendolyn[/name]/line, [name]Eleanor/name… I’m probably completely off though!

I’m thinking something along the lines of [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Lily[/name] if it’s a girl. Feminine and whimsical, with a floral included in the combo.

Not sure what their naming style is for a boy. If it’s similar to their girls’ names, then I would think something classic like [name]Henry[/name] or possibly more exotic like [name]Stellan[/name].

For a girl [name]Magdalena[/name]
Not sure on a boy atm.

Omg, this is a total nameboner for me! I’m just bummed I have to wait to hear the name.

I’m thinking something vintage sweet like [name]Alice[/name], [name]Patience[/name], and I agree w/ pp that [name]Beatrice[/name] seems like a strong contender. [name]Jennifer[/name] is from [name]West[/name] [name]Virginia[/name], so maybe [name]Virginia[/name]!

I have no idea for boys. I think (sorry!) [name]Walter[/name] and [name]Felix[/name] sound like good guesses.

Whatever it is, I hope it’s more fun than [name]Harper[/name] was from the Beckhams. I was/am really hoping for something unexpected!

For a girl I would suggest to them [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Geneva[/name], [name]Hannelore[/name], [name]Annis[/name], [name]Aurelia[/name], [name]Cecily[/name], [name]Blythe[/name],[name]Theodosia[/name]

Boys are tough, I think they would be less adventurous with them. [name]Bennet[/name], [name]Armand[/name], [name]William[/name], [name]Elias[/name], [name]Josiah[/name], [name]Boaz[/name]

I saw this via Celebrity [name]Baby[/name] Blog:

Raised with two sisters, [name]Jennifer[/name] [name]Garner[/name] would love for her two daughters to have the same experience.

“Three girls is a great way to grow up,” the pregnant actress, 39, says during an interview on The [name]Ellen[/name] DeGeneres Show airing on [name]Tuesday[/name]. “I’m one of three girls and my little sister is awesome, so I just want a [name]Suzanna[/name].”

[name]Even[/name] though [name]Garner[/name] says “it would be so weird to have a boy,” she also says the experience would be “cool and different.”

But [name]Garner[/name] also takes hubby [name]Ben[/name] Affleck, 39, into consideration, acknowledging that it would be “fun” for him to have a boy because “he likes baseball and all that stuff.”

As for the duos daughters — [name]Violet[/name] [name]Anne[/name], 5½, and [name]Seraphina[/name] [name]Rose[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] 2½, “they don’t really care about the gender as long as we name it what they want it to be named.”

And if the girls have it their way, they could end up with a sibling named “[name]Ralphie[/name], [name]Frankie[/name], [name]Minnie[/name] Mouse, [name]Daisy[/name] Duck, or [name]Rosemarie[/name].”

“[name]Daisy[/name] Duck Affleck,” [name]Garner[/name] says with a laugh. “I can see us going that way.”

I actually really like [name]Rosemarie[/name] for them

[name]Suzanna[/name] and [name]Rosemary[/name]! Ahh very cool. I’ll have to take them off my list now, though! I’m sort of hoping it’s a boy, though. I have no idea what they’d name a boy.

I am going to guess [name]Josephine[/name] if its a girl, and [name]Sebastian[/name] if its a boy

See, the thing about [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Seraphina[/name] is that they are very girly. So, to me, names like [name]Beatrice[/name] and [name]Josephine[/name], even [name]Virginia[/name], though on par with their vintage style, seem entirely too stuffy. I could see [name]Genevieve[/name] in this family, but not with a mom named [name]Jennifer[/name]. I guess my vote goes toward a name like [name]Adele[/name], [name]Christabel[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Gwendolyn[/name], or [name]Mirabelle[/name].

[name]Anne[/name], [name]Violet[/name]'s middle name, is a big family name on both sides. [name]Jen[/name]'s middle name is [name]Anne[/name], her mom’s middle name is [name]Ann[/name], and [name]Ben[/name]'s mom’s middle name is [name]Anne[/name]. [name]Rose[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]? No clue where those came from! [name]Ben[/name]'s mom is [name]Christine[/name], called [name]Chris[/name], so I could definitely see [name]Christabel[/name] as a tribute to her, maybe called [name]Belle[/name]. Maybe something like [name]Christabel[/name] [name]Daisy[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name], a tribute to mom, [name]Jen[/name]? Or maybe [name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Poppy[/name] [name]Christina[/name]? [name]Poppy[/name] is [name]Ben[/name]'s birth flower, and the P harkens back to [name]Jen[/name]'s mom [name]Patricia[/name] - [name]Christina[/name] is a spin on [name]Ben[/name]'s mom [name]Christine[/name]. Or, maybe they’d go simple and sweet, as in [name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Iris[/name] - a nice sister to [name]Violet[/name] [name]Anne[/name] and [name]Seraphina[/name] [name]Rose[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], for sure.

For a boy, I have no idea! Family names include [name]Bill[/name] [name]John[/name], [name]Jen[/name]'s dad, and [name]Timothy[/name] Byers, [name]Ben[/name]'s dad. [name]Ben[/name]'s brother, [name]Casey[/name], is really [name]Caleb[/name] [name]Casey[/name]. I could see something as simple as [name]Christopher[/name] Byers, called [name]Topher[/name], to something more intricate, like [name]Julian[/name] [name]William[/name] Byers, or even [name]Lennox[/name] [name]William[/name].

Inspired by [name]Jennifer[/name]'s comments…[name]Suzanna[/name] [name]Daisy[/name] would be awesome for a flower connection between all three sisters.

Isn’t that a beautiful name ([name]Suzanna[/name] [name]Daisy[/name])? I love it! Especially with [name]Violet[/name]…

BUT, in her interview with [name]Ellen[/name], [name]Jen[/name]'s comment about wanting a [name]Susannah[/name] was a reference to her own younger sister, [name]Susannah[/name] [name]Kay[/name]. I think she was saying that she’d like a third girl - a [name]Susannah[/name] - since [name]Susannah[/name] was the third (and final) girl in her own family growing up.

I don’t think her quote actually meant she wanted to name a daughter [name]Suzanna[/name], I think she was saying she wants a third daughter that is similar in personality to her little sister. I also think [name]Susannah[/name] is too close to [name]Seraphina[/name]. [name]Seraphina[/name] was really unexpected for me, so though I think my original guesses of [name]Alice[/name] seems like it might fit, I think it might be something we could never guess. Definitely something sweet and girly, but also traditional and not super frou frou.

When is she due??

Hmmm for a girl I think [name]Gwendolen[/name]/lyn is a good bet, good call.
Or otherwise [name]Maribel[/name]? maybe [name]Florence[/name]?

Boy is harder. My guess is [name]Oscar[/name]? or perhaps [name]Lawrence[/name] or [name]Walter[/name]…
They could go for [name]Ralph[/name] otherwise, or [name]Edgar[/name]…

Ohhhh the possibilities. Yeah; when is she due?

I hope they don’t use [name]Percy[/name] or [name]Bertram[/name].

jk  I feel like if it is a boy, [name]Ben[/name] may have a lot of say in the name, and that it will have some [name]Boston[/name]/[name]Red[/name] Sox reference or something. I don’t think they’ll do an “old man” name. If I knew more about the [name]Red[/name] Sox I might have a more educated guess…

And if it is a girl, they will probably do something super frilly again. [name]Eulalia[/name]? Or maybe they will go back to the simple/classic [name]Violet[/name] style…[name]Caroline[/name]? They totally surprised me with [name]Seraphina[/name], so we’ll see.

I also think that [name]Seraphina[/name] and [name]Josephine[/name] might be too close. [name]Violet[/name] [name]Ann[/name] an [name]Seraphina[/name] [name]Rose[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] might be better welcoming…

[name]Felicity[/name] (mn)
[name]Azalea[/name] ([name]Zaley[/name])
[name]Delores[/name] ([name]Lola[/name])
[name]Barrett[/name] (would love this though it wouldn’t match with their other girls… [name]Barrett[/name] [name]Louisa[/name] Affleck)

[name]Magdalene[/name] (nn [name]Lena[/name] or [name]Della[/name] or [name]Dell[/name]) [name]Chris[/name] _____ Affleck, [name]Margaret[/name] with a nn [name]Iris[/name] or [name]Sage[/name]
