I, for one, actually quite like the name [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f]! It’s a much better take on uber-popular [name_f]Jessica[/name_f], and it’s more sophisticated than rebel [name_f]Jezebel[/name_f]. From your list, I put together these combos: [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f], [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] [name_f]Cosima[/name_f], and [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] [name_f]Annabella[/name_f]. My favorite is [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f].

Other names similar to [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] are [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f]/a, [name_f]Jessa[/name_f], [name_f]Jezebel[/name_f], [name_f]Jessica[/name_f], [name_f]Jessa[/name_f], [name_u]Jesse[/name_u], and [name_u]Jem[/name_u].

I voted ‘eh’ because while it’s a nice name, it’s just not for me either. [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] is certainly usable and could make for a unique choice. I’d like to see it with an old-fashioned MN.

I really like [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f], and although I wouldn’t use it (wouldn’t translate to my Greek family) I would love to see it used!

I love [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f]. I think she has a lot more spunk and excitement than the more calm [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f].

[name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] is alright, but I really love [name_f]Jessamyn[/name_f]! A character in [name_u]Jean[/name_u] [name_m]Little[/name_m]'s children’s book Dancing Through the [name_f]Snow[/name_f] renamed herself that, and I’ve loved the name since I read that book. There was also an American author named [name_f]Jessamyn[/name_f] [name_u]West[/name_u], who is also mentioned in Dancing Through the [name_f]Snow[/name_f].

I like it in theory - it’s uncommon but not unheard of, feminine but not too frilly, can be spelled and pronounced (relatively) easily, and has a nice meaning - but I don’t really like like it. It isn’t a name I’d use, but I would like to see on another little girl. I have the same problem you once had - I see [name_u]Jess[/name_u]-[name_f]Amy[/name_f], which is really unappealing. I much prefer [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f], but I do think of it as [name_u]Jess[/name_u]-uh-meen more so than [name_u]Jess[/name_u]-uh-min.

[name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] got a big YES from me.

I love that rhythm of three syllables that end in an “ee” sound. I find [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]/[name_u]Delaney[/name_u] too surname-ish though. I like the way [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f] is more in step with [name_f]Verity[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], etc. A rhythm that is in step with modern affections for [name_u]Everly[/name_u] etc. but a more antique sound.

I must admit I love [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] too though.
