I used to be super into the name [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] for a boy but my love faded. Until today when I was listening to [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]'s Girl and I realized how much I really do like the name.
What are your thoughts on [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] for a boy? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like it? Hate it? Any middle name suggestions? Be as harsh as you want if you don’t like it, it’s just a name I’m contemplating
I like it. I didn’t like it up until a few months ago. Something just clicked, & I decided it was actually a really cute cowboy-ish name. It’s well known but not too popular, & kind of timeless. As for mns, how about…
You know those names that you just see on a certain generation ? [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] is one of these names that I associate with 80’s kids . I know it has more historical roots like [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_u]Jackson[/name_u]
I don’t hate it and would probably find it refreshing in the world full of [name_u]Jackson[/name_u]’s . However I much prefer [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] as a similar name to [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]
I really love the name [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] for a boy! The middle name I like best at the moment is [name_u]Jude[/name_u], but some other suggestions:
I love [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]! It’s a name with biblical roots, yet still sounds modern and fresh. [name_u]Jess[/name_u] is cool and breezy as a nickname.
I can see the appeal it has a cool cowboy vibe but me personally it’s not a favourite I just don’t find [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] that appealing I prefer as @Ehrob1 said [name_u]Jamie[/name_u].
I’m a bit bias, our son is [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_u]Montgomery[/name_u] has always been my favourite boys name since I was a child. We call him [name_u]Jesse[/name_u]-boy.
I think [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] is fine, its cute in the little ‘cowboy’ way.
Unfortunately I did know a pretty mean [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] back in school, so its sort of tainted for me.
I absolutely love it! One of my faves. I think it’s currently far “cooler” here in the UK than in the US, as it’s never really been popular here before.
For me it’s warm, sweet and friendly, but has a bit of a hipster/rock n roll vibe too. I think in the US it’s sometimes seen as a bit cowboyish, but I don’t really get that vibe.
I love it with the longer middles suggested, like [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u], [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] and [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m]
