Her other kids are [name]Eve[/name] [name]Augusta[/name], 20 months, and [name]Luke[/name] [name]Hudson[/name], 4 1/2, makes for an interesting sibset
Jessica Capshaw is also Steven Spielberg’s stepdaughter.
Me neither. [name]Poppy[/name] is cute, but [name]James[/name]? It’s not as bad as [name]Maxwell[/name] [name]Drew[/name], in fact [name]Poppy[/name] [name]James[/name] actually sounds quite cute. But names like [name]James[/name] being used for girls bothers me a lot more than names like [name]Jayden[/name] or [name]Parker[/name] being used for girls. I don’t understand at all why a classic boys name could all of the sudden be considered for a girl.
I don’t get it either. Leave [name]James[/name] for the boys. And [name]Poppy[/name] is cute, but it’s too cute - it’s in the same ‘cutesy’ category as [name]Maisie[/name], [name]Daisy[/name] and [name]Honey[/name].
I love it . . . But I’m a sucker for cute as a button names like [name]Hattie[/name], [name]Maisie[/name] and [name]Poppy[/name] (at least in theory :)). I’m of a similar opinion as the previous posters (in general) about classic boy names on girls. However, I don’t really mind them in the middle. [name]Poppy[/name] [name]James[/name] is [name]WAY[/name] more feminine than [name]James[/name] [name]Poppy[/name] (and [name]Maxwell[/name] [name]Drew[/name] for that matter). I think that those of us that don’t prefer this trend of traditional boy names on girls are quick to judge . . . Maybe it’s a family name or has some other signifigance? Either way I think the name works.
