[name_u]Shawn[/name_u] [name_m]Johnson[/name_m] and [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_u]East[/name_u] welcomed a baby boy, [name_u]Jett[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]East[/name_u]. He joins big sister [name_u]Drew[/name_u] [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_u]East[/name_u].
Thoughts? It’s a bit monosyllabic for my taste. I wonder if they’re gonna call him JJ.

Goes nicely with the sister’s name but I agree about its sound

I actually really like his name! I think it goes great with big sis and it’s a great choice for their family! [name_f]Welcome[/name_f] baby [name_u]Jett[/name_u]!
Honestly not what I was expecting.
Inthink I was expecting something that had a more obvious name tie to [name_u]Shawn[/name_u] as [name_u]Drew[/name_u] has an obvious tie to [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]. Like [name_u]John[/name_u] or something ending in son
Also was a teensy expecting to see a “w” in the name to mesh with all the other w’s in this family.
[name_u]Drew[/name_u] [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] was a surprise name that had a honor name and feminine quality in it. So it was easy to grasp even if it’s not my style. At first glance without hearing their naming journey [name_u]Jett[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] kind of hits me as something dull and unexpected next to sister [name_u]Drew[/name_u] [name_u]Hazel[/name_u]. But I only say that as this is a naming site asking for my opinion on the name.

Jett East sounds like the direction a plane is flying…

I’m pretty sure they mentioned that in video so I was a little surprised when they said that was his name.
