[name]Naomi[/name]- love!
[name]Cecilia[/name]- I can see how popularity could be a concern with it being used on “The Office”, have you considered [name]Cecily[/name]?
[name]Adeline[/name]- this is very pretty, but if popularity is again an issue, it may be rising due to people looking for [name]Madison[/name]/[name]Addison[/name]/Madeliene alternatives…have you considered the nn [name]Della[/name] or even [name]Delia[/name] might work
[name]Juliette[/name]- lovely but too close to [name]Jillian[/name] for me
[name]Phoebe[/name]- love! If your DH is concerned about friends, [name]Phoebe[/name] has so many other namesakes like [name]Holden[/name] Caulfield’s little sister in “The Cather in the [name]Rye[/name]” being one, she is also goddess of the moon! [name]How[/name] cool is that?
[name]Wilson[/name]- I really like this, I have a [name]Wilmer[/name] in my family I would like to honor someday and I am always looking for [name]Wil[/name] alternatives, but it does kind of sound a bit too similar to [name]Jillian[/name] when I think about it, have you considered the dutch [name]Willem[/name]?
[name]Anderson[/name]- this is ok, it just doesn’t do that much for me personally, also if you want to be picky I would try to find a name that doesn’t end with an n like [name]Jillian[/name]
[name]Sullivan[/name]- too cutesy trendy for me at the moment, nms I guess
[name]Theodore[/name]- perfect and I love nn [name]Theo[/name]
My girls picks would be [name]Phoebe[/name] followed by [name]Naomi[/name] and for boys [name]Theodore[/name] nn [name]Theo[/name] all the way!
Girls:
[name]Naomi[/name] - when you were listing everything that you loved about [name]Jillian[/name], it made me think of [name]Naomi[/name]. It is not super common, but not unheard of either, three syllables, and while it is a bibical name, the -i ending makes it appear more modern. I absolutely love [name]Jillian[/name] and [name]Naomi[/name] together. [name]Jilly[/name] and [name]Mimi[/name] as nns maybe?
[name]Cecelia[/name] nn CeeCee- I like [name]Cecilia[/name] but prefer [name]Cecily[/name].
[name]Mallory[/name] (possible nns?)- Eh, feels dated and very masculine. Maybe [name]Miranda[/name] instead?
[name]Adeline[/name] nn [name]Addy[/name] or Leeny- I’m guessing you are saying this [name]Ad[/name]-eh-leen, correct? its not my favorite but its ok
[name]Juliette[/name] nn [name]Jules[/name] (love the aliteration, but too close to [name]Jilli[/name]?)- [name]Jillian[/name] and [name]Juliette[/name] are way to similar.
[name]Meredith[/name]- I love [name]Meredith[/name]! It fits with [name]Jillian[/name] perfectly. hmm nns could be [name]Mimi[/name]?
[name]Josephine[/name]- what about [name]Posey[/name]?
[name]Phoebe[/name]- nn [name]Bee[/name]. I love this with [name]Jillian[/name] too.
My favorites are [name]Naomi[/name], [name]Meredith[/name] and [name]Phoebe[/name].
Boys:
[name]Josiah[/name]- I prefer [name]Jonas[/name]
[name]Anderson[/name] nn [name]Andy[/name]- I dont like [name]Anderson[/name], but I love [name]Anders[/name].
[name]Wilson[/name] nn [name]Will[/name] - I dont care for [name]Wilson[/name], but maybe as a mn?
[name]Sawyer[/name] - yeah, he is pretty trendy
[name]Sullivan[/name] nn [name]Sully[/name]- Oooo I like this!
[name]Theodore[/name]-I love this.
I lost my post twice so I will make this short.
I like [name]Cecelia[/name] and [name]Meredith[/name] best
[name]Anderson[/name] and [name]Sullivan[/name] for a son BUT [name]Anders[/name] and [name]Van[/name] as nn’s.
You can’t have a [name]Jilly[/name] and a [name]Sully[/name]
When you put the family names in the mn spot it sounds like the name of a law firm so if you put a classic boy’s name in the middle you will correct this problem, eg
[name]Anderson[/name] [name]Peter[/name] L
[name]Sullivan[/name] [name]Andrew[/name] L
[name]William[/name] [name]Andrew[/name] L
Girls:
[name]Naomi[/name]-I really love this name with [name]Jillian[/name]!
[name]Cecelia[/name] nn CeeCee- [name]Love[/name] this too!
[name]Mallory[/name] (possible nns?)I have heard [name]Mallory[/name]'s called [name]Mal[/name], [name]Mallie[/name], or [name]Lory[/name]
[name]Adeline[/name] nn [name]Addy[/name] or Leenythis one seems a little more trendy then the others
[name]Juliette[/name] nn [name]Jules[/name] (love the aliteration, but too close to [name]Jilli[/name]?) it is a little close to [name]Jillian[/name] for my taste, but I don’t think it would be so close you couldn’t use it if you really loved it
[name]Meredith[/name]I think this is out because you used [name]Mary[/name] as the middle name for [name]Jillian[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name] you could do [name]Joey[/name], or Sephie, or Phina. I must say I don’t like this as much as your other choices like [name]Naomi[/name], [name]Cecelia[/name], and [name]Mallory[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] (nn?) I have never liked this name, just nms
I think [name]Cecelia[/name] [name]Naomi[/name] is really pretty, or [name]Naomi[/name] [name]Cecelia[/name].
Boys:
[name]Josiah[/name] I really like this
[name]Anderson[/name] nn [name]Andy[/name]this just really sounds like a last name to me
[name]Wilson[/name] nn [name]Will[/name] - not a fan
[name]Sawyer[/name] - it is a little trendy, but I really like it with [name]Jillian[/name].
[name]Sullivan[/name] nn [name]Sully[/name] I like this one a lot with [name]Jillian[/name] too!
I really like [name]Sullivan[/name] [name]Rogers[/name], or [name]Sawyer[/name] [name]Wilson[/name]
