What are your reactions to the name [name_f]Joanna[/name_f]?

Like, what kind of girl is she?

[name_f]Sister[/name_f] is [name_f]Leah[/name_f].

I know 2. I’ll describe them.

  1. [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] is a loud, confident, social girl, and she loves spending time with her friends, and doing fun things.
  2. [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] is persistant, and stuck to tradition. She also likes to bake.

I like it! I think it goes great with [name_f]Leah[/name_f]. It makes me think of a girl who’s really confident and outgoing and kind of the cheerleader type.

I have a second cousin [name_f]Joanna[/name_f], who is a really lovely person. She’s very quiet, but artistic, intelligent, goal-oriented, and kind.

I really love [name_f]Joanna[/name_f], and think it’s hugely underrated these days. It’s got a lovely sound, and good nickname potential too ([name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Joni[/name_f], [name_u]Jojo[/name_u], etc). I really love the singer-songwriter [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] Newsom, and she gives the name a strong, calm, free-spirited feel to me. Beyond perfect with sister [name_f]Leah[/name_f] too.

It’s ok but I prefer [name_f]Johanna[/name_f]

[name_f]Joanna[/name_f] is lovely, and goes very well with [name_f]Leah[/name_f].

[name_f]Joanna[/name_f] sounds like a very strong, smart, and determined girl with a wild, free spirit. I imagine her to be very good at math and science and to play a sport like tennis. It’s a beautiful name and is one of those names that ages very well with a girl, with cute nicknames for childhood like [name_u]Jo[/name_u], [name_u]Joey[/name_u], [name_u]Jojo[/name_u], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], etc. but then sounds mature enough for a young lady or adult, and it’s perfect with [name_f]Leah[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Joanna[/name_f]. She’s a cute and caring down-home kind of girl. I imagine her in the summertime wearing overalls and a bandana headband.

I knew one at school and she was loud and threw her weight around but she is probably a lovely person now! It’s a regular but confident, reassuring and happy name to me. I prefer [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f] but [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] is lighter.
