I really like [name_f]Alina[/name_f] (Uh-Lee-Nuh) and everyone seems to like it too, but the question is if it works as a middle name for [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] (Yo-Huh-Nuh).
I know if you remove the [name_u]Li[/name_u], it’s basically [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. It’s probably too similar, right?

I don’t think the names themselves are too similar, but I do think the flow isn’t the best. The open ending of [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] runs into the open beginning of [name_f]Alina[/name_f] so it’s a little difficult to say - I have to do a glottal stop (think the sound in between uh-oh) to get from one name to the next. Honestly, I don’t think that’s the worst thing in the world because middle names aren’t used frequently in every day life, but that’s my first impression of the combo. The names themselves I don’t think are too close, however.

I think it works based on your [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] pronunciation
I would switch the order. I would not hate for someone to use this name, but I would change it. Maybe [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] in the middle could work with [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] first.
