We are 6 weeks pregnant with baby #3 and although it’s a bit early, we’re already discussing names (one of my favorite topics!). Our oldest is [name]John[/name] [name]Daniel[/name], who we call JD (he was named after my dad, [name]John[/name], and my mom, [name]Danielle[/name]). His little brother is [name]James[/name] [name]Monroe[/name] ([name]Monroe[/name] is my Dad’s middle name)…and we thought that worked really well because [name]John[/name] and [name]James[/name] were brothers in the bible. We have our heart set on [name]Jude[/name] if baby #3 turns out to be a boy, but we’re having a little trouble with the middle name. We have a few ideas, but I would [name]LOVE[/name] your suggestions!! We were considering [name]Alan[/name]/[name]Allen[/name]/[name]Allyn[/name] because that is a middle name that several family members have (including me). Another idea is [name]Oliver[/name], just because we think it’s a pretty cute name. Yet another idea is [name]Buchanan[/name]…my grandmother’s maiden name was [name]Buchanan[/name] and if she were still with us she would be 100 years old this [name]October[/name] (which is when the baby is due!). Also, what are your thoughts on 2 middle names…maybe [name]Jude[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Buchanan[/name] Coughey? Any and all suggestions are very much welcome!!! Thank you all!!! 
Any name you list would work well with [name]Jude[/name], but my favourite has to be [name]Jude[/name] [name]Oliver[/name]. [name]Alan[/name]/[name]Allen[/name] would be my second choice because of its wonderful meaning.
Personally I prefer one middle name, because your other children only have one. Also, all the boys with two middle names I’ve met hate the idea. They always said they wanted a simple name.

What about your SO’s side? It seems like both your sons have names that honor your parents–would you (or your husband) like to honor his parents?
I like the pp’s suggestions… I also think [name]Jude[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Jude[/name] [name]Everett[/name] are lovely.
