I like it! It’s unique and there are not a lot of [name_f]Jolie[/name_f]’s around. I would pronounce it [name_u]Jo[/name_u]-lee

I think it’s cute. It makes me think of [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] but I wouldn’t consider that a bad association. I’m in [name_u]America[/name_u] and here I think the majority of people would pronounce it as [name_m]Joe[/name_m]-lee.

I think it’s beautiful! It means ‘pretty’ in [name_u]French[/name_u] I think? I’d pronounce it [name_u]Joh[/name_u]-lee. 
My niece used to have a best friend named [name_f]Jolie[/name_f]! She pronounces it [name_m]Joe[/name_m]-lee. I’m personally not a fan, I’m sorry. that may be because the [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] I know isn’t the nicest person, and also because I associate it heavily with [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] (which isn’t a bad association, just such a strong one), though. I can definitely see the appeal of it! I prefer other [name_u]Jo[/name_u]- names myself though.
(Also [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is lovely!)
@EdgeOfTheMeadow, that’s how I’ve been pronouncing it. I just don’t know if the [name_m]Joe[/name_m]-lee pronunciation is what a girl called [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] (Joh-lee) would get a lot.

Joe-lee. It’s an okay name. Definitely an [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] association but she’s done great things so it’s not a bad one. I prefer [name_f]Jolene[/name_f] with [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] as a NN.

I’m very set on [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] as a middle, though (I don’t think I would even use [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] if whoever the baby’s dad is doesn’t want [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] as the middle). [name_f]Jolene[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] just has a different flow than [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
Jolie [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is lovely!! I pronounce [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] the [name_u]French[/name_u] way, zho-lee, almost. I agree that the [name_f]Angelina[/name_f] [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] association will probably be less common in say, 10 years, and it’ll be even less likely among her peers - more commonly it’d be parents, teachers, etc. who’d make the connection, and really, I can think of worse people to share a name with!
