I was thinking about the name [name]Jonas[/name] yesterday. What do you think? Anything come to mind when you hear this name?

I love this name! I wanted to put it on our list, but dh vetoed it saying that everyone would think of the [name]Jonas[/name] brothers. I know the [name]Jonas[/name] brothers are big right now, but I can’t imagine that they have much staying power… In 5-10 years, will anyone think of them when they hear the name [name]Jonas[/name]? I’m not sure. But if you don’t want to risk it, do you like [name]Jones[/name] as an alternative? I know a young boy named this and think it’s the coolest name. [name]Jonah[/name] is also similar, but I personally don’t like it as much.
I know, I keep thinking of the [name]Jonas[/name] Brothers too. I like the sound of the name and also like [name]Jones[/name] and [name]Jonah[/name], but we have friends with those names so we can’t use them. I had the same thought about the staying power of the [name]Jonas[/name] Brothers band. I am still on the fence if that is a deal breaker or not.
I adore the name [name]Jonas[/name]. I always think of [name]Jonas[/name] Salk, the famous scientist who produced the first polio vaccine and then gave it away for free. I would use the name myself but I have a nephew named [name]Joseph[/name].
I love the name! It does not make me think of the [name]Jonas[/name] Brothers at all. I have some ancestors named [name]Jonas[/name] ([name]Jr[/name]. & Sr.) from the 1800s. To me the name is a breath of fresh air alongside the more common names of that day. I would bet that the [name]Jonas[/name] Brothers won’t be in the spotlight too long. Personally, I wouldn’t let them ruin the name for me, but that’s a decision you have to make
[name]Jonas[/name] is just about my favorite name for a boy. If I have a son, they will probably get that name. I associate it with its meaning (dove) and with a sort of sci-fi coolness. Much more stylish than its counterpart, [name]Jonah[/name].
I prefer [name]Jonah[/name] 
By the time your son is in school, I doubt that the [name]Jonas[/name] Brothers will still be popular. If they still are and it’s a problem, he could always go by [name]Joe[/name], [name]Jon[/name], etc…
i love it! my ds name is [name]Jonas[/name] [name]Griffin[/name] ______. I think its an awesome name…but i would LOL. noone has ever even asked if he was named [name]Jonas[/name] because of the [name]JOnas[/name] Brothers so i really dont think ppl would associate the two much. but thats jmo.
