[name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]! [name_m]Johnny[/name_m] is too casual to me - I wouldn’t want to put only “[name_m]Johnny[/name_m]” on my resume, if that makes sense.
[name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] with the nickname [name_m]Johnny[/name_m] (this spelling) or [name_m]John[/name_m] and calling him [name_m]Johnny[/name_m]. Although [name_m]Johnny[/name_m] works perfectly well, he could always go by [name_m]John[/name_m] later if he wishes.
Definitely [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m]! It looks much more complete and as an adult he can choose to go by [name_m]Jon[/name_m], [name_m]Johnny[/name_m], [name_m]Nathan[/name_m], or [name_m]Nate[/name_m].
