Josephine Blossom

Hey lovely berries! I’m 14 weeks with baby no. 3 (gender is unknown!)

At the moment I have [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] who goes by ‘[name_u]Teddy[/name_u]’ and [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Belle[/name_f]’

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite girls name for this little one is [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] who would go by ‘[name_f]Posy[/name_f]’

I can’t resist using [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] for this spring born babe. The only other name I love is [name_f]Margot[/name_f], so [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] would be another contender.

What are your thoughts? Thank you so much you’ve always helped me with coming up with fantastic names! xx

Josephine [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] is beautiful! [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] isn’t normally my style, but the grace and cheer it adds to the mature [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is perfect.

Your babies have beautiful names so I would add [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] as the newest addition🥰 both names are on my list so I think the combo is swell!

It goes well with longer [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m], but in general you managed to pair classical names and make them sugary, which I love very much!

Josephine [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] is beautiful! I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] even more

Josephine [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] are both absolutely stunning names!

Love it!! Not too keen on [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] but love [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] as a middle name!!

Nickname [name_f]Posy[/name_f] is genius with [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f].
I much prefer [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] to [name_f]Margot[/name_f], she fits nicely with the sibset

I prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] to [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f]. That’s partly because I find [name_f]Margot[/name_f] more beautiful than [name_f]Josephine[/name_f].

It’s also though that while I usually like contrasty firsts and middles ([name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] is an example that just came up on the forum), [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] is too dissonant for me.

And finally, while I am sure you will nn her [name_f]Posy[/name_f], the chance that many of the people who meet her in life with shorten her name to [name_u]Jo[/name_u] or [name_u]Josie[/name_u] is strong.

I think of my student, the lovely [name_f]Larissa[/name_f], whose parents were broken-hearted that their daughter’s group of friends called her [name_m]Larry[/name_m] and nothing else. :frowning:

Josephine Blossom and Margot Blossom are divine! Gorgeous names!
I love both  I believe Margot and Josephine sound amazing with your oldest children’s names. Posy is an adorable nickname for Josephine.
Congratulations on your third baby! Good luck :four_leaf_clover:

I think [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] goes beautifully with you others! And [name_f]Posy[/name_f] is the cutest little nickname! It might not be intuitive but if she says “Im [name_f]Posy[/name_f]!” people will go with it

Same here! It’s sweet and I really like [name_f]Posy[/name_f]

It’s unbelievably cute. I love that a posy is a small bouquet and her middle would be blossom!

Both names are stunning and match very well with your other children’s names. I really like [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] the best.
