I’ve been toying around with [name]Josephine[/name] combos for a while, and nothing seems to be sticking. I came across [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] today, though, and I think I kind of like it. WDYT?
My other two maybe-[name]Josephine[/name] combos are [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Esme[/name] and [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]–how does [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] compare to that?
Any other MN ideas for [name]Josephine[/name] similar in style to [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Esme[/name], or [name]Sophia[/name]?
[name]Love[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]! I definitely like [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] the best out of the three. It’s short and sweet so it balances out [name]Josephine[/name]. And, the names are tied together because they’re both classic and beautiful. The name rolls off the tongue really well, I think it’s a perfect combo!
[name]Josephine[/name] [name]Eden[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name] [name]Renee[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name] [name]Hallie[/name]
[name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] is what my husband and I settled on the day before [name]Beyonce[/name] had her kid lol up until then I didnt think [name]Ivy[/name] would be that big outside of naming communities.
Anyways, I think its a great combo and one I’m still considering using since I go back and for on Athénaïs sometimes.
I also love [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]. [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Esme[/name] is also nice, but there’s something about the spunk of [name]Ivy[/name] paired with the sophistication of [name]Josephine[/name] that I really like. I’m not such a fan of [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]. I feel like the two names share too many sounds, including the prominent “ph” sound.
[name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] is really beautiful!! While [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Esme[/name] is okay, I would avoid pairing [name]Josephine[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name] for the same reasons noted by agirlinred.
[name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] is SO stunning- I can’t tell you how much I love it! I love it much more than either [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Esme[/name] or [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]. [name]One[/name] name that did come to mind was [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Camille[/name] / [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Camilla[/name]. Although, honestly, I like [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] more!
@shaymin2 - I really love [name]Cora[/name]! I know you suggested [name]Coral[/name], haha, but I like [name]Cora[/name] so much more and it is quite similar. I was also tossing around [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Cora[/name] ____ for my [name]Lily[/name] name, too. It could be a possibility!
Obviously [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] is a huge hit! I love [name]Ivy[/name], but not quite enough for a FN, so I thought it might be perfect as a MN… I’m not quite as convinced as everyone else, though… [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Esme[/name] and [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Sophia[/name], maybe even [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Clara[/name], have more personality to me. I think I like [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] more than [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]…
[name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] is cute. I just picture a sweet little blonde girl with pigtails skipping her way to school! I don’t think it is perfect though, something just seems a bit off for me but I cannot place what. I love [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] (I am on a major [name]Sophia[/name] kick at the moment) but it has so many repeating sounds that the flow is a little off. [name]Do[/name] you know what the 2nd mn would be, I think that might give us all a better idea of where the combo is going. Obviously I love [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Clara[/name] as well! [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Esme[/name] is cute, but I say [name]Esme[/name] more like Es-mee than Es-may so it makes the combo very long E heavy to me. What about [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] or [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]?
I feel the same way about [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]! It seemed to be such a big hit on this thread but there’s just something off about it to me. and haha, I say [name]Esme[/name] the same way. I try to say ez-[name]MAY[/name], but it always comes out ez-mee, and tbh, I like it better that way.
MN would honor family, most likely… I don’t know for sure but I’ve been leaning toward [name]Kate[/name] or [name]Pearl[/name]. That’s not really set, though…
What does everyone think about [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name]?
I’m not feeling [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] as much as everyone else has (much as I lovelovelove [name]Ivy[/name]!), and [name]Emilia[/name] is a variant of my great-grandmother’s MN ([name]Amelia[/name]). I’ve never been too keen on [name]Amelia[/name], but I love [name]Emilia[/name]! My great-grandmother was an amazing woman and I know my mom and grandma would be thrilled to see her name passed on.
[name]How[/name] does [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name] compare to [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] and [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Esme[/name]? [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Clara[/name]? I know [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] has flow issues but I can’t help loving it, and the fact that it means “[God] will increase wisdom” means a lot to me.
I like [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name], but not as much as [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]. And honestly, I don’t see or hear that much of a difference between [name]Emilia[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name].
The meaning of [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] is beautiful, but I still think [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] sounds better and has more personality than all of them put together.
well, lol, the difference between [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Emilia[/name] is supposed to be minimal. That’s why I picked it. I don’t mind the sound of [name]Amelia[/name]… I just can’t stand the look. There is a subtle difference between [name]Amelia[/name] (ah-MEEL-yuh) and [name]Emilia[/name] (eh-MEE-lee-ah) to me, though. [name]Emilia[/name] just sounds and looks sweeter to me.
I do like [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name], but @thetxbelle came up with it first, and we were talking, and it sounds like it’s one of the few names her husband would agree to, so I wouldn’t want to take that from her. Especially when I don’t especially love [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] to begin with. I’ve been thinking about fitting [name]Ivy[/name] somewhere else, like [name]Magda[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] or [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Josephine[/name], even, or maybe even somewhere else. I don’t know yet. [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] is lovely, just not for me, I think.
I like [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name] the best by far! I say [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Emilia[/name] just slightly different. (Uh-mee-lee-uh and EE-mee-lee-uh) so the difference to me is not really enough to say I have a preference other than preferring A to E as an initial LOL. [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] would be STUNNING!! It just looks so sweet and classy when I see it. Definitely a winner!
[name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name] are both so gorgeous that I’m not sure if I can pick one, so how about combining them? Would you be open to either [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Emilia[/name] or [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Emilia[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]?
Hmm, maybe! I actually like the idea of the three of them together… I’m not sure which way I would prefer it. I also love [name]Sophia[/name] with [name]Ivy[/name]… maybe [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] or [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Ivy[/name]…
