Personally I like [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] better than [name_f]Veronica[/name_f], but what matters is what you love. If you love [name_f]Veronica[/name_f], go for it!
[name_f]VERONICA[/name_f]! Gorgeous, feisty name. I know only one [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] and she is both of those things in spades
I love [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]! It’s very elegant, and can give different nicknames depending on the personality of the child - there’s the more rough and tumble ‘[name_u]Jo[/name_u]’, and the feminine ‘[name_u]Josie[/name_u]’.
You can’t go wrong with either.
I voted [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] ”
As a mother of a [name_f]Veronica[/name_f], of course I had to vote for her, although [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is also a very beautiful name. Very seems a bit strange to me for a nickname, but Vee or VeeVee could certainly work. Our daughter goes mostly by [name_f]Vera[/name_f] and sometimes by [name_u]Nico[/name_u], so those are some other nicknames you might want to consider.
I think [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is much nicer and more classic. Personally, I find [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] a little harsh.
I prefer [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. But I like the suggestion of nickname [name_f]Vera[/name_f] for [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]. Beware that the nn [name_u]Ronnie[/name_u] will come up at some point.
Anyway, as for [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] being old-fashioned, I don’t think it’s anymore “old-fashioned” than [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. Go with what you love!
I love [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]! It’s so cute but still elegant. It’s gorgeous!
I little biased since my name is [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]!!!
