Josephine Zinnia?

WDYT of this? I’ve mostly gotten my list sorted for the girls, and I mostly know where I want to go with the combos–with the exception of [name]Josephine[/name]. I have been wanting to use [name]Zinnia[/name], though, and it just struck me to pair it with [name]Josephine[/name]. My earliest and fondest memories of my mom are of her in her garden, so flower names in general just seem to embody her. I’m not sure she had any zinnias, but it’s such a beautiful name and I love it in the MN spot! Does [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name] work?

I had really loved [name]Grace[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name], but [name]Grace[/name] didn’t make the cut… The only other combo I can sort of see working on my list is [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name], but I like my current combo ([name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Poppy[/name]) much more. WDYT? Yay or nay? Can you come up with anything better?

I have really been liking [name]Eliora[/name], [name]Zoe[/name], [name]Claudia[/name], Esmee, [name]Mirielle[/name] (in honor of a great-aunt), and [name]Audrey[/name] in the MN spot, too, but I’m about 95% sure I like [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name] more than all of those options. Maybe [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zoe[/name], but I’m a bit iffy on that, too… Maybe another quirky flower name?

I really like this combination. I think [name]Josephine[/name] is a beautiful name but I’ve sometimes seen it described as a stuffy name and I think [name]Zinnia[/name] lightens it up considerably. I think it’s a perfect combination of substance and whimsy. I think [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Eliora[/name] achieves this too but I like [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name] quite a bit more.

I think it’s sweet. [name]Josephine[/name] and [name]Zinnia[/name] work really well together. They both sound very smart and feminine to me so I would imagine a very sweet little bookworm that still is girly, which sounds a little like you haha. I like it

It could be worse but it feels like something is missing from the combo, I think it’s just that I don’t like how [name]Josephine[/name] and [name]Zinnia[/name] flow together.

Because they are both three syllables they don’t really flow together, even though they are both lovely names.
Suggestion: Two middle names, [name]Josephine[/name] (something) [name]Zinnia[/name], or how about [name]Josie[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name]?
Good luck

I love it!

I really love [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name]!

Other flowery options could be [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Azalea[/name], [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Daisy[/name], [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Lilac[/name], [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Lotus[/name], [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Tansy[/name], [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Violet[/name]

I would have said [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Poppy[/name], because I think that’s adorable, but I think [name]Emmeline[/name] sounds super cute with it!

For me, [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name] is heavy on the “ee” sound as well as s/z. Now, [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Mireille[/name] would be a gorgeous combo.

I like [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name]. [name]Both[/name] names are great and I like them together. Plus epic nicknaming potential. Go for it!

I love the name [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name]! [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Poppy[/name] is stunning as well. Nicely done!!

Thanks, ladies! All the little issues with it seem a bit nitpicky to me–none of them really bother me if [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name] really is the one–but I’m still not sure it is. And @mischa, it’s actually [name]Mirielle[/name] (MEER-ee-elle), not [name]Mireille[/name] (mee-ray). It would be in honor of my great aunt, [name]Muriel[/name] [name]Cathleen[/name]. She went by [name]Cathie[/name], but I find [name]Mirielle[/name] to be a sweet, more modernized version of [name]Muriel[/name]. I like that it has the same beautiful meaning as [name]Mireille[/name], though. I like [name]Mirielle[/name] a lot, but for some reason, I just can’t get into [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Mirielle[/name]. I feel like I can’t really get behind most combos with [name]Josephine[/name], actually. [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name] is the closest I’ve gotten, and it’s quite close to what I’m looking for, but at the same time, I don’t really think it’s “it.” I would really love to know what “it” is, though, because this is getting frustrating.

[name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name] is gorgeous! I don’t think I’ve ever clicked on a thread faster. Maybe try it out with other quirky flower names and see if you like anything better?

[name]Josephine[/name] [name]Amaryllis[/name], [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Camellia[/name], [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Azalea[/name], [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Chrysanthemum[/name]… I kind of like them all.

haha, thanks, I’m honored. I do really like [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name]. I’m just not sure it’s clicked, and I’m not sure it will click, completely. Not like some of my other combos have. I love my other combos so much, and I know without a doubt, that “this is it”–and I just don’t have that with [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name] yet. I feel like it may come with time, though, so I’m hoping it does, because I adore [name]Zinnia[/name], and I think it’d be so stunning to meet a little [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name]!

I have thought about another quirky flower name… but so far, none have clicked to the degree that [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Zinnia[/name] does. I do like [name]Camellia[/name] a lot (although I’m not sure about [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Camellia[/name]), but I have a coworker with the name, and I’m not sure I want to go there.

[name]Love[/name] it!!!
