I prefer [name]June[/name], but I think any name starting with Ju could easily pull [name]Jude[/name] off. My favourites are [name]Julia[/name], [name]Juliet[/name] and [name]Junia[/name] (and also, if you are willing to stretch even further, [name]Jacinta[/name]/[name]Jacintha[/name]/[name]Jacinthe[/name] could work…) Good luck!

I know two women who go by [name]Jude[/name]. It is short for [name]Judith[/name] in both cases, which doesn’t help much, and I can’t think of any other suggestions, but I think [name]Jude[/name] totally works for a girl!
As a full name, I think it is doing your daughter a total disservice. As a nickname, fine - I don’t like it, but it’s not cruel.
On my family history I have a woman named [name]Judah[/name] and the name is special to me. I thought of using it myself. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Judah[/name]/[name]Juda[/name]?

I agree, [name]Jude[/name] as a full name would be awful! I just think it would be nice in our world of unisex names- an obviously feminine name with a more unusual nickname. And @ciottolo- Juliet Demetria is just gorgeous! Can I steal your idea?

I think it’s pretty much accepted as a ‘unisex’ name. I don’t like it on a girl, personally, but I suppose it works. I like it a lot more as a nn for [name]Juliet[/name] [D-name].
