So true! When my son [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] was born his NN was going to be [name_m]Jake[/name_m]. But as he got a little older they changed into really weird funny nicknames!
I wouldnât change a thing about this set! So lovely
Thank you! All though I think Iâm going [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] to [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f].
I think youâre onto something there. [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] sounds much more natural, rounded and less sing-song than [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u].
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_u]Harper[/name_u]
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Octavia[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
This is a GORGEOUS set. You have done so well! I absolutely adore these names together. They flow well but they each also have a distinct character, and none of them feel âmoreâ or âlessâ than the others.
I adore that [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] have that O link, while [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] have the D link and a similar inflection. [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] are both dainty and romantic while [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] are proud and strong. Then you have the link between Elodie and Octavia with their longer middle names. They all link up beautifully.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the middle names too. I wouldnât change a thing! Your girls will be lucky to bear such lovely names.
Thank you so much! I never really thought of that until now!
I adore your choices. I would support your consideration to swap out [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] for [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] just because it means theyâd all have different initials!
Then again it doesnât ring as well as all 4 starting with a vowel⌠Either way! Amazing choices
I agree, I think iâll keep [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]!
Yes I agree with other posters, keep [name_f]Octavia[/name_f], [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
Such beautiful names! I would lean towards swapping [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] for [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] personally, mainly for the different initials and also because [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is very easily nickname-able ([name_f]Cora[/name_f]/Cori/Delia/Lia/etc.) and it sounds like you have nicknames for the other girls. Itâs a lovely set either way though!
Nns for [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
Fi
[name_f]Leah[/name_f]
[name_f]Lia[/name_f]
[name_u]Eli[/name_u]
Or [name_f]Rose[/name_f]?
Well, they are all nice names, but you said in your first post All girl quadruplets names needed! that you liked [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] and [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] but that they were already the names of your nieces. SoâŚwhy would you turn around and decide to use [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]?
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] could be nicknamed [name_u]Ollie[/name_u]
!
I like [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] better than [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], but I feel like [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] is the âodd one outâ- this is random, but two other great O names to consider are [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ottiline[/name_f]- what do you think of those?
Well, I do have a neice named [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] but she goes by [name_f]Elle[/name_f] most of the time anyway. But after a lot of thinking and considering I think iâm still going to use it. We plan on calling her [name_f]Didi[/name_f] in the future anyway so it shouldnât be to bad!
Thank you all for your help and feedback!
Alexis [name_f]Jade[/name_f]? or [name_u]Lyric[/name_u]?
I already have an [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] in the family other wise I would totally use it! [name_u]Lyric[/name_u] is a really beautiful name too!
They look very well put together to me. I love [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and yes I would pick [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]. [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is perfect,[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] for me is just too tragic, a sad name.
The only thing I want to point out is that [name_u]Harper[/name_u] doesnât fit with the other middles.
