[name_f]Giuditta[/name_f] for me.
Walking Dead association for me, though not a bad one! I just think I personally haven’t seen it used anywhere else in real life or in pop culture. I’m neutral, it’s not my style but it fits in nicely with the “vintage revival” trend we’re currently having.
Walking Dead definitely made me think of it as ripe for this generation. I also know an adult [name_f]Judith[/name_f], called [name_u]Jude[/name_u], and she is this gentle soul who kicks ass on a daily basis. So I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u].
I love girl names that end with the “th” sound! All of the Judiths that I know go by [name_f]Judy[/name_f] - that is what sounds dated to me. I think [name_f]Judith[/name_f] or [name_u]Jude[/name_u] sound fresh!
I like it, especially with the fresher nickname [name_u]Jude[/name_u]! Have you considered [name_f]Justine[/name_f]?
Thanks for your replies!

I don’t like nor dislike [name_f]Judith[/name_f]. It’s one of those names heavily from the 80s. I can’t stand the nn [name_f]Judy[/name_f], but [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is great, or even full [name_f]Judith[/name_f].
I voted neutral because my name is [name_f]Judith[/name_f], and I neither love nor hate my name, except that when somebody actually calls me “[name_f]Judith[/name_f],” rather than “[name_f]Judy[/name_f],” I think they’re angry at me because my parents only called me “[name_f]Judith[/name_f]” when I’d done something wrong.
I’m not fond of the name “[name_f]Judy[/name_f],” and I don’t feel like it fits me at all - nor does “[name_f]Judith[/name_f]”, for that matter, but I’m too old to change it now.
Reminds me of [name_m]Carl[/name_m] choosing the name for his baby sister on Walking Dead, and even my non name-nerd husband commented that it was a weird choice for a baby
