I love [name_u]Jules[/name_u]/[name_m]Julian[/name_m]/[name_m]Julius[/name_m]!
My top 3:
[name_u]Jules[/name_u] [name_m]Prospero[/name_m]
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_u]Mercer[/name_u]
[name_u]Jules[/name_u] [name_m]Severin[/name_m] (adore both names, just not sure if they run into each other a bit?)
Also like [name_m]Prosper[/name_m]/o because it shares the [name_u]Fortune[/name_u] meaning with [name_m]Felix[/name_m], though I prefer just [name_m]Prosper[/name_m], [name_m]Julius[/name_m] [name_m]Prosper[/name_m], [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Prosper[/name_m], and [name_u]Jules[/name_u] [name_m]Prosper[/name_m] are all wonderful [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
[name_m]Julius[/name_m] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] (Has the same feel of [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m], a more stately, regal first with a jaunty middle.)
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Asher[/name_m] ([name_m]Asher[/name_m] is for the shared meaning with [name_m]Felix[/name_m])
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Merrit[/name_m] (Ditto)
@dechen, I really like all three of your suggestions. Thank you! [name_m]Isidore[/name_m] is a family name, but we have already honored that ancestor with my son’s name. [name_m]Octavio[/name_m] and [name_m]Maximillian[/name_m] are brilliant, though. [name_f]Octavia[/name_f] and [name_f]Maxima[/name_f] have been on our extended girl’s list.
@katinka, [name_u]Jules[/name_u] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] is inspired.
@jalila13, I too slightly prefer [name_m]Prosper[/name_m] to [name_m]Prospero[/name_m], but DH only loves [name_m]Prospero[/name_m], so for now there we are. [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Prosper[/name_m] is one of my very favorites!
I like Meritt, but my cousin has a J0rdyn [name_m]Asher[/name_m], which is too close for comfort.
I’m partial to [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Nemo[/name_m], myself.
I also really like [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Idris[/name_m], though, and Amicus [name_m]Julian[/name_m] is really lovely, too! [name_u]Jules[/name_u] [name_m]Severin[/name_m] and [name_u]Jules[/name_u] [name_m]Prospero[/name_m] are incredibly lovely, too, but I think I’d vote [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Nemo[/name_m] or [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Idris[/name_m] myself.
Amicus [name_m]Julian[/name_m]- Amicus & [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] sound amazing together and would make great brothers!
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Idris[/name_m]- This one is my favorite without taking [name_m]Horatio[/name_m]'s name into consideration. [name_m]Julian[/name_m] & [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] still sound great together, though [name_m]Julian[/name_m] is more common
[name_u]Jules[/name_u] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m]- I love how this sounds! Has an adventurous/literary feel. [name_u]Jules[/name_u] & [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] arent my favorite together but still work pretty well together
Suggestions:
[name_m]Julius[/name_m] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m]- for me, this improves upon [name_u]Jules[/name_u] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] just because I prefer [name_m]Julius[/name_m] & [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] as a sibset. [name_m]Julius[/name_m] & [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] are so perfect together!! Smart and lively pair
*[name_m]Julius[/name_m] [name_m]Ferdinand[/name_m]- matches the feel of [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] [name_m]Felix[/name_m], connects the boys names via the middle initial, and includes hubs top choice. [name_u]Love[/name_u] this one!
[name_m]Julius[/name_m] [name_m]Fernando[/name_m]/[name_m]Orlando[/name_m]- similar to above. I love [name_m]Julius[/name_m] paired with an -o ending middle
@[name_m]Yuma[/name_m], I love your suggestions. [name_m]Julius[/name_m] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] and [name_m]Julius[/name_m] [name_m]Ferdinand[/name_m] are both excellent picks!
I’m noticing a lot of votes for [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_u]Mercer[/name_u]. Wondering if anyone cares to enlighten me about why they chose it in particular.
