we have it narrowed down to these two! We love them both for different reasons! I love the sweet sound of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and I love how [name_f]Julia[/name_f] flows! But I don’t know which I like more! I’d love to hear others opinions! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] or [name_f]Julia[/name_f] more??
I prefer [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]! It seems like such a spirited name to me. If it weren’t common where I live, I’d probably have it on my list.
Definitely [name_f]Julia[/name_f]! I would name another daughter of my own [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. So beautiful, timeless, and elegant.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] gets my vote
Hmm. I’m going with [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Julia[/name_f] has more substance.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f], definitely. [name_f]Julia[/name_f] sounds like a less-than diminutive of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], and was more popular a decade ago.
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] is timeless. That’s my choice.
Hello from a [name_f]Julia[/name_f]!!! [name_m]Just[/name_m] chiming in that I really do love being a [name_f]Julia[/name_f]!! It has worked well for me through all stages of my life, has never been overly popular but never misprounced or unfamiliar. No teasing about it. It also has lots of good nicknames (I get everything from [name_u]Jules[/name_u]–by teammates, coaches, family and friends, Jul–by my nana, JuJu [name_m]Bean[/name_m]–by my dad, and lots more.) to fit different ages and personalities. I’ve really enjoyed being [name_f]Julia[/name_f] and I would never choose a different name. [name_m]Just[/name_m] letting you know from a personal standpoint that it’s never been a problem and I really like having it! I love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], too, but [name_f]Julia[/name_f] gets my vote.
I think [name_f]Julia[/name_f] is more timeless and classic.
That being said, have you considered [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]? It seems to be a blend of the two, and you could still call her [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], with the benefit of having a very classic name akin to [name_f]Julia[/name_f] and the nickname of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
is substantial and abundant.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] sounds lighter, more comedic.
I think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is overused, would go with [name_f]Julia[/name_f].
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] by a hair. [name_f]Julia[/name_f] more substantial to me and will age well. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is beautiful and doesn’t age badly but [name_f]Julia[/name_f] wins to me.
I absolutely love [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. Its darling, youthful, but also spunky and classic. Its just so full of life! I love [name_u]Lou[/name_u]/[name_f]Lu[/name_f] names and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is spunky yet classic as well, but I personally find [name_f]Julia[/name_f] much more attractive.
Vote for [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
I love the classic and literary [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. It has more substance/gravity. I dislike [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] but like similar names such as [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucia[/name_f].
I like them both, but I vote [name_f]Julia[/name_f] because I think it will age better. I prefer [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] or maybe [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f].
