I’m torn, I love this name and I feel torn between liking this name and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. The true problem is I prefer [name_f]Julia[/name_f], she feels sunnier and sings to me. The issue is I want to honor my mother [name_f]Diana[/name_f]. I won’t use any variations (like [name_f]Diane[/name_f], who is an entirely different person in my life). So the combo gets to be a little sing songy. [name_m]Can[/name_m] you be honest on how good/bad it truly is?
Hmm, I think it’s okayyyy … however, I’m a huge stickler for flow, so imo, [name_f]Diana[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] would sound best. It’s totally up to you though, and [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is pretty, though a little weird to say aloud.
I am cheering you on to use [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f]! It feels elegant, feminine, and checks all the boxes for you. I agree that [name_f]Julia[/name_f] feels sunnier and lighter than [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], although also lovely, but please use your favourite. It may not have the flow you were hoping to find but it doesn’t grate and is still so beautiful. She will be known as [name_f]Julia[/name_f] (last name) and after the birth announcement and in real life we seldom say our first and middle names together.
I love [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. I actually prefer the flow of [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] to [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f].
I think it sounds fine. Sure, [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] sounds a bit better, but [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is totally usable and having both a first name you love and honoring your mother are way more important aspects of the name than 100% perfect flow.
Both [name_f]Julia[/name_f] & [name_f]Diana[/name_f] are so happy and bright, and anabsolute breath of fresh air. So excited to see [name_f]Julia[/name_f] mentioned, it’s absolutely beautiful.
The flow with [name_f]Diana[/name_f] isn’t the best, but honestly it doesn’t matter, you seem very much in love with this, and I am encouraging you to use it.
All the best!
Xx
As well as disliking the name by itself, I’ve had a really bad personal experience with a [name_f]Julia[/name_f], which has completely ruined the name for me. Also it feels a lot more dated than [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], which is stunning and timeless. The flow of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is much nicer, and works much better with your sibset What do you think of [name_u]Julie[/name_u]? [name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_f]Jillian[/name_f]?
In the end, it is your decision though.
