Julian and Leon

Are [name_u]Julian[/name_u] and [name_m]Leon[/name_m] too similar to be brothers?

Yes, I think so. What about [name_u]Julian[/name_u] and [name_u]Lionel[/name_u]?

I think you could use it, have you considered [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m]?

They would be a little too similar for me–I’m sorry! [name_m]Julius[/name_m] and [name_m]Leon[/name_m] or [name_u]Julian[/name_u] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] would be great, though!

They are too similar for me.

Maybe:
[name_m]Julius[/name_m] & [name_m]Leon[/name_m]
[name_u]Julian[/name_u] & [name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_m]Jonas[/name_m] & [name_m]Leon[/name_m]
[name_u]Jace[/name_u] & [name_m]Leon[/name_m]

I don’t think they’re too similar - at least not in my accent! They’re a very well-matched set

Ditto this. I second @abby_gail_t’s suggestion of [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] “[name_m]Leon[/name_m]”, which I think works a lot better.

Not in my accent.

Yes given the way I say them.

Are you pronouncing [name_m]Leon[/name_m] as LAY-on or as LEE-on? If it’s the former, I think it’s a tad close but not necessarily a deal-breaker if you love it. If it’s the latter though, I think that it’s definitely too close for my taste.
