Juliana or Brooke? Middle name help, too

I don’t think [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] is too much; actually it’s my favorite combo of yours so far. [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] is a beautiful way to honor your grandmothers If you still think it’s too much, [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] is my second favorite.

[name_f]Juliana[/name_f] [name_u]Brooke[/name_u], as @relica said, would be a great compromise, but I prefer the name [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] to [name_f]Juliana[/name_f], so I say [name_u]Brooke[/name_u]! [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] sounds good with either a longer middle, or a middle with the emphasis on the second syllable - my suggestion is [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_f]Louise[/name_f], but I love @relica’s suggestion of [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]!

I think [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] would be the PERFECT sister with [name_f]Holly[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]. Both would have one nature name and one elegant, romantic, feminine name.

I like the idea of [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] or [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_f]Helena[/name_f]. With either of those combinations, you’d essentially be in the same place as with [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] in regards to name patterns: you’d have one family name, and one nature name.

I think you should consider what names you like for future children, both for boys and girls. Would you want to use another nature name for either sex? Would you want to use another family name? Can you think of any nature names that you prefer for boys? Any more for girls? Are there any other family names you’d be interested in passing along, or are you mostly tapped out? Does it bother you if you had two kids with a nature name and one without, or two with family names and one without, etc… These might help you narrow it down more.

P.S. I saw that [name_f]Mary[/name_f] is a family name for you. I have to say, [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] is probably my favorite combination that’s been suggested. I love that each girl would have their own name and a family name.

It would seem that we’re between [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] and [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] [name_f]Eleni[/name_f]. (Potential third daughter in future would be [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] or something similar if we do nature names)
I think it would be fine for us to switch from the nature them, especially if we have a boy, because they aren’t strong nature names (like “[name_u]River[/name_u]” or “[name_u]Juniper[/name_u]”). We always intended to have 2 and adopt 2 whose given names we wouldn’t change if they were chosen by the biological parent.
The idea of giving family names as middle names has made me much more excited about our choices now. Before it just felt like picking a name that sounded nice because we had to, but doing that would give meaning.
