I voted [name]Julie[/name] but I really love [name]Juliet[/name] or [name]Julianne[/name] nn [name]Jules[/name]
I love all the [name]Julie[/name] names, but [name]Julia[/name] is 2nd on my girls list so I picked that one. I love [name]Julia[/name], [name]Juliana[/name], [name]Juliann[/name], [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Julietta[/name] and [name]Julie[/name]. ( my best friends name is [name]Julie[/name] [name]Anne[/name], first and middle) [name]Ive[/name] contemplated using it as one, [name]Julianne[/name], but I just love [name]Julia[/name] most.
[name]Julia[/name] gets my vote
I voted [name]Julia[/name] because I like how classic and pretty it is. But I second (or third) all the PPs who suggest [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Julianna[/name], etc. I also recommend the Italian spelling [name]Giulia[/name] if you happen to be Italian or live in [name]Italy[/name].
If you name her [name]Julia[/name] you could still use [name]Julie[/name] as a nn in addition to [name]Jules[/name]. It gives you more options.
[name]Both[/name] names seem dated, I like [name]Juliet[/name] a lot. Many nn possibilities.
[name]Julie[/name] just looks like another nickname for [name]Julia[/name] (or [name]Juliet[/name] or [name]Juliana[/name]…). I don’t usually go for nicknames as names, so I say [name]Julia[/name]. I don’t think it’s dated; it’s classic and elegant in my book, and I also love [name]Jules[/name] as a nn!
I picked [name]Julia[/name]!
I really love [name]Julia[/name].
[name]Julie[/name] somehow feels a little dated right now for me.
…thank you!
