I prefer [name]Juliet[/name] to [name]Julia[/name]. I know many will disagree with this statement, but [name]Julia[/name] seems a bit '90’s to me for some reason. I’m sorry to say but [name]Uli[/name]/[name]Ula[/name] doesn’t sound the best to me. I’m sorry I wasn’t more positive! [name]Juliet[/name] is lovely, though. Good luck!

I much prefer [name]Juliet[/name] to [name]Julia[/name]. I agree with the other poster about ti sounding a bit dated. Also, for me at least, it’s just too popular and lacks any sort of sparkle.

As far as the nickname, I don’t love it and I think you’ll have a hard time getting it to stick.

[name]Juliet[/name] to me is a bit more hipster, [name]Julia[/name] more classic. I don’t get a 90’s vibe from [name]Julia[/name] at all. I like them about the same. I think it depens on siblings, the middle name, and what type of style you want to convey to choose between them. I actually quite like [name]Uli[/name]- I don’t care for [name]Ula[/name], but [name]Uli[/name] is very interesting. I like it a lot. Personally I like [name]Jules[/name] best of the [name]Julia[/name]/et nicknames, but [name]Uli[/name] is definitely unique and I love common names with unique nicknames.

It would be [name]Julia[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. I already have a son named [name]Elijah[/name] [name]Michael[/name]. For other names I’m considering look in my signature.

[name]Julia[/name] is one of my favorite names! I also love [name]Juliet[/name], but [name]Julia[/name] is just a bit more classic and timeless, and for that reason, I think it goes better with [name]Elijah[/name]. [name]Both[/name] would be fine, though. I’m iffy on [name]Uli[/name], but then again, we call my sister almost exclusively Luli, and they’re quite similar. I think it could be cute, actually. [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] flows better than [name]Julia[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] to me, I think. From your signature, I love [name]Cordelia[/name], [name]Fiona[/name], [name]Genevieve[/name], and [name]Phoebe[/name].

I prefer [name]Juliet[/name] with [name]Elijah[/name], that way the names have different ending. I think [name]Elijah[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name] flow quite well together. [name]Juliet[/name] is more modern, and like [name]Elijah[/name] is as popular now as its ever been. They both feel very current without being trendy. I dont much care for [name]Uli[/name] though. [name]Jules[/name] would be adorable though. [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is gorgeous imo.

I also love the nn [name]Jules[/name] but I have been interested in [name]Uli[/name] ever since watching her on Project Runway. It just occurred to me yesterday that I could use it as a nn for [name]Julia[/name]/[name]Juliet[/name]. I have just added a poll to better see people’s responses.

Nine times out of ten I’d say go with [name]Juliet[/name] over [name]Julia[/name], but for some reason [name]Julia[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is more pleasing to my ear than [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. However, I didn’t take into account the flow with your son’s name–the -a endings on both could end up being a tongue-twister. As for nn [name]Uli[/name], I kinda like it but worry that you’ll have a hard time getting it to stick outside your home. If you’re ok with the rest of the world calling her [name]Julie[/name], then go for it!
