Juliet or Eve?

Juliet and [name_f]Eve[/name_f] are our favorite names for a 3rd girl. We have two girls and have used 6 names between the two. I’m running out of favorites. I’m looking for a classic, simple in spelling and length, strong yet feminine name and these two fit the bill, but which to choose? I have my preference but I want to see how others see them and how they compare. Thanks Berries!

Are you wanting suggestions? I think if I had to choose I would pick [name_f]Eve[/name_f], but I like them both! Femenine and classic.

Why not use both?

I prefer [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] to [name_f]Eve[/name_f] myself, so I think [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] _____ or [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] _____ [name_f]Eve[/name_f] would work quite well. (Unless you already have middle names picked out, in which case my choice between these two would depend on those mns.)

I also think knowing your older daughters’ names would affect my vote here as well.

So hard to choose, both are gorgeous! I think I slightly prefer [name_f]Eve[/name_f], but something like [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] would be beautiful.

Eve

I like how it sounds and also I like the meaning.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] isn’t bad though.

[name_f]My[/name_f] vote is for [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] I also prefer [name_f]Eva[/name_f] to [name_f]Eve[/name_f], but [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is still a very nice name. It brings back memories of my favorite [name_u]Brady[/name_u]'s real name, [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Plum[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], both in sound and association. [name_f]Eve[/name_f] feels like sort of a heavy name to carry. But [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] does have a popular alternative spelling, and spelling hassles seem like something you want to avoid. Really either option is lovely.

Honestly this is a tough call I love both names such gorgeous choices. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is just elegant and romantic. On the other hand [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is so delicate, happy and sweet. [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is such a lovely choice great name. Could you have [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] or [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]? They would be such dreamy combinations! I think flow wise [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] works better so I would go with that.

I like them both! I think [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] flows better if you are using both! And then I assume you would do two middle names like your other daughters? [name_f]Eve[/name_f] may sound the best at the end too.

Juliet [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Raphaela[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Maribel[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]

I love both equally! I really can’t choose. I think [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] or [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] flows very well. I would personally pick [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], but both totally work.

Hi there.

They’re both beautiful. I slightly prefer [name_f]Eve[/name_f], because it’s just so simple, elegant & a little pixie-ish. That being said, every other little girl I hear of is some sort of ‘Ev’ name. So, Ee-vee or Ev-ee. I’d go w/Juliet if you’re wanting something that won’t get lost in the shuffle as much. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is romantic, elegant & cheerful.

Hope this helps.

My vote is for [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]! Both are lovely names, though! The reasons I sway towards [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] are things like more nn possibilities([name_u]Julie[/name_u], [name_u]Jules[/name_u], Liea, [name_f]Ettie[/name_f], etc), being less common these days(ev- names are incredibly popular right now, at least in the US), it being longer and easier to pair well with middle names and more surnames, and then just the image of a little girl with the name of the biblical first woman seeming like a lot. I would say that if you love [name_f]Eve[/name_f], I would swing mn([name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is so elegant, at risk of making this thread sound like an echo chamber!) or having it as a nn for something longer with that name in its spelling! I agree with QuirkFlower in that [name_f]Eve[/name_f] alone feels like a heavy name to carry as a first, as lovely as it is.

I adore [name_f]Eve[/name_f]! [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] would be perfect!
