Would you spell it [name]Juliet[/name] or [name]Juliette[/name]?

[name]How[/name] bad does it sound with the middle name [name]Giovanna[/name] ([name]Jo[/name]-VAH-nuh)? Obviously they’re both three syllables and start with the J sound. Not ideal, but using that middle name is really important to me.

Other than [name]Jules[/name], are there any other nicknames you think would work? I’m not a huge fan of [name]Jules[/name], and I’m assuming little [name]Julias[/name] and Juliannas go by [name]Jules[/name] as well, so there are probably lots of [name]Jules[/name] running around. Anything more unique to [name]Juliet[/name] that might not be used for the [name]Julias[/name] and Juliannas?
[name]Hi[/name], I love the spelling of [name]Juliet[/name], especially with [name]James[/name]. And [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Giovanna[/name] sounds very pretty.
Possible nn’s:
[name]Etta[/name]
[name]Lia[/name]
I love [name]Juliet[/name]( that spelling). I think it sounds romantic and pretty. As for a nickname, you could go with [name]Julie[/name] as well. As for the middle name, it really depends on how many syllables your last name has. If it’s just one, I think [name]Giovanna[/name] would sound nice with it. If you last name has 2 or more syllables, it might start sounding like a mouthful to say.
[name]Juliet[/name]! And it sounds really pretty with the middle name(:
Nicknames:
[name]Jewel[/name]
[name]Julie[/name]
[name]Julia[/name]
[name]Letta[/name]
[name]Etta[/name]
Ett
[name]Lia[/name]
I like the [name]Juliet[/name] spelling. I like [name]Etta[/name] as the nn. I think it is fine with the middle name. Meaning trumps flow in my opinion.
I would spell it [name]Juliet[/name]. It seems the more common way to be spelled so she won’t always be correcting people.
The middle name should have real meaning to you so I like it.
The other nicknames I can think of are [name]Lettie[/name], [name]Etta[/name], [name]Ettie[/name].
I like the [name]Juliet[/name] spelling for a FN and the [name]Juliette[/name] spelling for a MN. I think [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Giovanna[/name] sounds lovely :). As for nicknames I have [name]Julia[/name] on my list who I plan to call [name]Jewel[/name] which would work here too, there is also [name]Letty[/name]/[name]Lettie[/name] for a more unexpected choice.
There are times when alliteration works well and [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Giovanna[/name] is one of them. Throwing out the nn [name]Lettie[/name]/[name]Letty[/name] too.
I agree- esp if you’re trying to do the double-J thing like with your son’s name.
