I prefer [name]Juliet[/name] than [name]Julietta[/name]. But I agreed with you that [name]Julietta[/name] [name]Claire[/name] flows better than [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Claire[/name].
They are both very lovely. They do feel quite different though; [name]Juliet[/name] is a classic while julietta feels much more exotic and unusual.
I think with [name]Julietta[/name] you may have to choose other exotic names for any siblings in the future which is something you may want to consider as it does narrow choices quite a bit.

So, I voted for [name]Juliet[/name] since I like that name a little bit more, and even though [name]Julietta[/name] flows better with [name]Claire[/name] I still think [name]Juliet[/name] flows well enough. I myself was thinking about these 2 names, [name]Julietta[/name] only because of the cute nickname [name]Etta[/name], but ultimately I would probably go with [name]Juliet[/name].

I’ve never been a huge proponent of [name]Juliet[/name]–I can’t really picture it on an actual person, it just seems so tied to [name]Romeo[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name] to me. I think it’s gorgeous, and I’ve considered it as a MN many times, but as a FN it feels semi-unusable to me, and almost a bit overrated (I feel the same way about [name]Penelope[/name]!). I met a [name]Julietta[/name] last winter, though, and it just seems so stunning to me. This girl was poised, smart, elegant, she just wore it so well and it suited her, even though she wasn’t overly frilly or super feminine at all. I like that it could easily be shortened to Juju when she’s really little, and [name]Etta[/name] for just about anytime, and there are a lot of other options to choose from, as well (even just [name]Juliet[/name], although it seems sort of pointless to use [name]Julietta[/name] if she is going to go by [name]Juliet[/name] 100% of the time). I find [name]Julietta[/name] so much more appealing on its own, anyway, and I agree, it just sounds so much better with [name]Claire[/name]. I would love to meet a little [name]Julietta[/name] [name]Claire[/name]!

I will stand steadfast for [name]Julietta[/name], I feel it’s more versatile overall, and it has a great flow to the middle name. I love how you could get [name]Julie[/name] or [name]Etta[/name] as possible nicknames as well.
I love both and I considered [name]Julietta[/name] because it flows better with some names. I also like the name [name]Arietta[/name] which has the same feel to me as [name]Julietta[/name]. Honestly, I don’t think you could go wrong with either. I think they are both stunning!
Thanks for the responses everyone. [name]Ran[/name] both combos by my husband and he vetoed [name]Julietta[/name], so now we’re considering either [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Claire[/name] or [name]Clara[/name] [name]Juliet[/name].
I’m not a fan of [name]Julietta[/name]. I see why people think it flows better – with the a and all – but I actually think [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Claire[/name] flows better and is so beautiful. I also like [name]Clara[/name] [name]Juliet[/name], but I prefer [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Claire[/name]. They have such a different style/feel to me; I think it really just depends which one feels right. But you can’t go wrong in my opinion. [name]Both[/name] gorgeous and versatile names.

[name]Don[/name]'t sacrifice choosing a first name you love just to achieve better flow with the middle name…the vast majority of people in her life will never know her middle name. Obviously you don’t want it to sound bad, but I think [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is stunning!
