For a long time my favorite girl name was [name]Julia[/name]. Now [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name] are my # 1 and #2 names for girls and while I like [name]Julia[/name], I’m wondering if [name]Juliet[/name] fits better on my list?
[name]Julia[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name] are similar in ending, which normally doesn’t bother me, but I’ve been falling out of love with [name]Julia[/name] for a while now and actually took it off my list. I still really like the idea of using a [name]Julie[/name] name as it would honor my best friend [name]Julie[/name]. Does [name]Juliet[/name] fit with [name]Claire[/name], [name]Sophia[/name] and [name]Anneliese[/name]? Would you choose [name]Juliet[/name] over [name]Eliza[/name] for my list? I love the name [name]Juliet[/name]. In my opinion it’s prettier than [name]Julia[/name], and I love the [name]Julie[/name] nickname. [name]Julia[/name] seems more…I don’t know…mature. Not that [name]Juliet[/name] is immature or anything, but it seems to have a kind of sweet-little-girl thing while also working as an adult’s name.

I am not the biggest fan of [name]Juliet[/name]. Too [name]Shakespeare[/name] for me. I agree with PP that [name]Julia[/name] seems mature. My favorite of the [name]Juli[/name]- names is [name]Juliana[/name]. That being said, I feel like [name]Juliet[/name] fits best with [name]Claire[/name], [name]Sophia[/name] and [name]Anneliese[/name]. I wouldn’t choose [name]Juliet[/name] of [name]Eliza[/name]. I like [name]Eliza[/name] much, much, more. [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] is pretty, but I like your combo better.
[name]Julia[/name] is more popular then [name]Juliet[/name]. I think either name goes with your other names. I like [name]Juliet[/name] more then [name]Eliza[/name].
I love [name]Juliet[/name]! It’s on my list of names (but I like the spelling [name]Juliette[/name]). I think the name is beautiful and will work well for a baby, adult and older woman! [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is a beautiful combo if you wanted to use [name]Claire[/name] as a middle name.
Anneleise [name]Claire[/name] is also a gorgeous name combo… you have some great choices.
Thanks! I am very set on [name]Claire[/name] as a first though, but it does sound good as a middle for just about any name!I also like the spelling [name]Juliette[/name] and may use it depending on which middles I choose. If they are longer middles I may go with the [name]Juliet[/name] spelling.
