Lately, the name [name_f]June[/name_f] [name_f]Hakima[/name_f] came to mind and it’s been sitting with me in such a lovely way. [name_f]June[/name_f] isn’t super popular in Australia, at least not where I live, which I actually find quite appealing. I also love that you can get the sweet nickname [name_f]Junie[/name_f] from it—it feels warm, nostalgic, and youthful all at once.

[name_f]Hakima[/name_f] is especially meaningful to me—it’s the name of my great-grandmother, who passed away a few years ago. She was such a strong, wise, and graceful presence in our family, and using her name would be a way to honor that legacy. I had been considering [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] for a middle name initially, which I still really like, but something about [name_f]June[/name_f] [name_f]Hakima[/name_f] feels more distinctive and heartfelt. I do like the modern simplicity of [name_f]June[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f], but when I saw the name of your thread I instantly thought it was striking, unexpected, spunky, and sweet!
