June Joan or Jane???

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] nameberries! I have a problem. I love three names that are VERY similar. They are [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_u]Joan[/name_u] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I love them all equally, but obviously they are too close for real kids. They all have some meaning to me but I NEED to pick one!

I adore [name_f]Jane[/name_f]…and [name_f]Janie[/name_f]. It also honors my late mom. So my vote goes to [name_f]Jane[/name_f].

I love the classic simplicity of [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. My vote goes to [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as well.

Another vote for [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. It’s strong and attractive and isn’t used enough, imo.

I love [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as middle name, for I’d use [name_u]June[/name_u] as first.

I’ve always adored [name_u]June[/name_u] :slight_smile: it’s a beautiful, free month and that flows into the name itself. It makes me think of warmth, sunshine, summer experiences, joy, and the feeling of being “infinite”.

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] . It’s classic but not dated. Simple and pretty.

I love the name [name_u]June[/name_u]!!! I think it just has this “essence” of spunky cuteness! I also love [name_u]Joan[/name_u], for of course the reference to [name_u]Joan[/name_u] of Ark! I’ll be honest with you and say that [name_f]Jane[/name_f] definitely isn’t my favorite name, but I still think it could still be adorable accompanied by a hipster middle name {just because that’s how I roll ;)!}

I like both [name_u]June[/name_u] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I find [name_u]Joan[/name_u] rather dated, but the connection to [name_u]Joan[/name_u] of Ark gives it a continued spark. If I were to choose one, it would be [name_u]June[/name_u].

I named my little girl [name_f]Jane[/name_f] last month…I love its timeless style and straightforward beauty.

[name_u]June[/name_u] is gorgeous too though!

I am a fan of [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. It’s such a timeless name. Elegant and simple.
[name_u]Joan[/name_u], is a pretty stong name, also a good choice.
[name_u]June[/name_u], so summery.
I do like all of them, but I like [name_f]Jane[/name_f] the best.

[name_u]Joan[/name_u] not so much but that is fine ([name_u]Joan[/name_u] was my least favorite anyways I just like the nickname No and the [name_u]Joan[/name_u] of Ark connection). Plus I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u]!!!

Another question!? Would it be weird to use [name_u]June[/name_u] as a middle for one kid and the. [name_f]JANE[/name_f] as a first for another kid?? Or is it to close. (I really like [name_u]June[/name_u] because it’s pretty and honors two people in my family) ?

I personally prefer [name_f]Jane[/name_f], I just love how classic and classy it is.
Also, I don’t think [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_u]June[/name_u] are too close to use if one of them ends up in the middle; they have very different origins and vibes.

My vote is for [name_u]June[/name_u]! I love the nn options of [name_f]Junie[/name_f] and [name_u]June[/name_u] Bug.
