[name_m]Hi[/name_m], again! We’ve narrowed down our favourite names to top 3: [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f] (in no particular order)
Having a hard time choosing between these.
(They all go well with our surname btw)
Could you pick one favourite and tell why not the others?
They’re all great names, so I can see why you’re having a hard time choosing! [name_u]June[/name_u] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would definitely both be up there in contention for me, if I ever had a daughter.
I was a teen during Twilight’s peak, so [name_f]Esme[/name_f] will always be associated with that for me unfortunately. I also could see people mispronouncing it maybe? I think my vote would have to go to [name_u]June[/name_u], as it’s more unexpected than [name_f]Rose[/name_f], which sort of has that reputation as a “filler” name in the middle spot, even if I love it as a first.
I choose [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] as a combo. [name_f]Esme[/name_f] is cool, too. That spelling only. I love repeated ending sounds more than most, I think, and [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Evadne[/name_f] is awesome.
My vote goes to [name_u]June[/name_u]. It’s a lovely vintage (yet still fresh) choice which isn’t too commonly used, especially as a first name. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is also beautiful but much more common. I can’t say I’m a huge fan of [name_f]Esme[/name_f].
Hard choices!!! I think [name_u]June[/name_u] is my favourite, because it’s a very spunky, sweet name, (and I’m big a fan of the Handmaid’s Tale) - but [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a very close second.
my favourite is esme! it’s sweet and classy, and I just love the way it sounds. june feels a little dated to me (though I couldn’t tell you why), and I just know so many roses, but I’ve only met three esmes, and I find it absolutely darling.
Ah, tough! The other day I was all for [name_u]June[/name_u] … If I were naming my own child though, I’d probably go with [name_f]Esme[/name_f]. The z sound gives it a bit of spark and I like that it’s relatively nickname proof. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would become [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] and I prefer [name_f]Juno[/name_f] to [name_u]June[/name_u].
I love your final three! Beautiful simple, easy to spell! Vintage but fresh.
My personal favourite is [name_u]June[/name_u] . Such a simple and underrated name. Not overly popular, easily recognizable.
Rose - again I love all your names but [name_f]Rose[/name_f] feels a little more popular. I do like this name because it can be elongated. [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite [name_f]Rose[/name_f] variant is [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
Esme- i also have a strong twilight association with this name. I love it as a nickname . I think it is so sweet sounding , very vintage and not popular
Esme is the top choice for me. I love that it feels elegant and stylish. [name_u]June[/name_u] would be a close second. It feels retro, but also new. [name_f]Esme[/name_f] has more spark, I think.
June is my favourite! I like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] a lot too. [name_f]Esme[/name_f] is nice too but I just prefer the name [name_u]June[/name_u] because it seems warm and sunny!
June is so beautiful. Are all lovely but [name_u]June[/name_u] gets my vote! Second would be [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. And [name_f]Junie[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] cute nn’s.
I like [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Esme[/name_f] as a combo. Maybe you could use two out of your top three?
The spelling of [name_f]Esmae[/name_f] is also nice too.
[name_u]June[/name_u] is my favorite! Such a gorgeous, underused name.
([name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Esme[/name_f] are also great names-- I just like [name_u]June[/name_u] better )
June is my favorite. I work in the schools and see [name_f]Rose[/name_f] more than [name_u]June[/name_u]. [name_u]June[/name_u] is more spunky and lively than sweet [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but I like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] because of [name_u]Doctor[/name_u] Who
