What do you think of [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] as a middle name for a boy? I know it’s more common for girls right now, but for some reason I’m really feeling it as a boy name. [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]? [name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]? Usable?
This is my number one name for a girl. I think if I never have a daughter I will just use it as a middle for my son. Go for it!
I think it’s completely usable as a boys name, especially in the middle where it won’t ever need to be shortened, so a boy wouldn’t run into any nickname issues. I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] quite a bit actually!
Right?! I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] a lot too! My husband is kind of worried about [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] being a “girl name” though, and I guess he isn’t wrong! But I do feel like middle names can be more flexible, and no one would fuss about naming a girl [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Cedar[/name_u], and I don’t really see how [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is that different!
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is in my top ten for girls, but I think it totally works for a boy, especially in the middle spot.
I like [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] for boys. For a girl, I don’t see the appeal. It’s similar to [name_m]Jupiter[/name_m] so it feels better suited on males
I love [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] on a boy too, and I don’t think he’d be likely to run into any confusion or “girl name” taunts as it’s a pretty unusual name for either gender, plus it will be tucked away in the middle. I think [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is incredible!
I’ve always thought most nature names could be gender neutral, and since you intend to use it as a middle anyway, I don’t see the big deal. I’ve known boys named [name_f]Juni[/name_f], [name_u]Jules[/name_u], and [name_m]Julian[/name_m], which all sound very similar and some might construe them as feminine sounding, and as a PP mentioned, it’s fairly uncommon as a name to begin with. I think it’s perfectly usable on a boy.
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is pretty cute! I’m not normally a fan of [name_u]Owen[/name_u], but I like the sound of [name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] as well!
Very usable.
I prefer it for girls but it could work for a boy. If it’s used as a first you could call him [name_u]Perry[/name_u].
