[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! What do you guys think of the name [name_f]Juno[/name_f]? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like how it sounds? Is it too tied to the movie? (About teen pregnancy)
I’m looking for an elegant middle name to balance out the spunky [name_f]Juno[/name_f], suggestions?
Also how would you picture a girl named [name_f]Juno[/name_f]?
I don’t think it’s too tied to the movie—especially for a future child, whose peers will be less likely to know the movie. [name_f]Juno[/name_f] feels spunky but also grounded. It’s a strong name! I quite like it.
I’m seeing [name_f]Juno[/name_f] pop up a lot online lately (not in real life yet though) so I think the tie to the movie is fading pretty quickly. I don’t think a young [name_f]Juno[/name_f] would have to deal with teasing from peers.
You could go with [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] or [name_f]Juni[/name_f] though of you want something similar that doesn’t have the movie association for you.
I think of [name_f]Juno[/name_f] as a spunky girl outgoing and loving, maybe nicknamed Junebug when she’s little. It feels like a good name for an adult woman as well.
I really like [name_f]Juno[/name_f] I think it’s a happy name that sounds carefree and spunky. [name_f]Juno[/name_f] is a cool little name with great mythology references. I don’t think the name is to tied to the movie but I also don’t think the movie is a necessarily a bad association. The character [name_f]Juno[/name_f] is a brave young woman the film itself is cleverly done and I would take the association positively rather than focusing on the stereotypical negative that is teenage pregnancy.
I would team [name_f]Juno[/name_f] with a longer elegant name to balance out the spunkiness if I do repeat any suggestions count them as me being in agreement with the other berries
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Aurore[/name_f]

[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Fenella[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] ~ a combination a [name_u]Berry[/name_u] has whose name has escaped me but it’s lush!
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Roxanna[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Maxima[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
I adore the name [name_f]Juno[/name_f], it’s one of my absolute favourites. Whilst it used to be, to me at least, fairly tied to the movie it somehow no longer is. I would have used this for my daughter if my partner had allowed it.
Loved the movie, love the name. I have a [name_f]Juno[/name_f] and we did get asked about the film when she was born 5+ years ago, but we now know another couple and it’s become more of a mainstream name, so people don’t seem to make the connection so strongly anymore.
I pictured a tomboy (like me) when we named her, as it has quite an androgynous sound, but our [name_f]Juno[/name_f] is a classic “girly girl” (hate how reductive that is but you know what I mean) and she loves her name and it really suits her. She likes to tell everyone she’s named after the queen of the gods, haha
How about [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] or [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]? All of those strike me as soft and feminine, but matching [name_f]Juno[/name_f] in sass and spark.
Like @ethelmary said, I’d never heard of the movie until it was brought up on here. [name_f]My[/name_f] immediate association is with the [name_m]Roman[/name_m] goddess! It’s a beautiful name; I have [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Ziazan[/name_f] on my UC.
I have heard of the movie, but it doesn’t come to mind for me when I hear the name. I’d go for it! As for middle names, [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Aristella[/name_f], [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Bellarose[/name_f], [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Calanthe[/name_f], [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_u]Ember[/name_u], [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f], [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Madelief[/name_f] or [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] could work.
Can’t help but chime in on a Juno post … I love Juno! It’s on our shortlist for a future daughter. Juno Beatrix is our longstanding favourite combo, but it works with so many names. I love too many of the combos mentioned to list them all. Juno Kerensa stood out though, I don’t think I’ve seen that before!
I love [name_f]Juno[/name_f]. I see it as upbeat and feisty. I loved the movie [name_f]Juno[/name_f] and don’t see a reference to it as a negative. Sure, a teenage girl has a baby, and what a great girl she is!
