Jury?

Really it’s a nickname I heard on my show, but it caught my eye. I think it’s pretty cool. What do you think about it?

It makes me think of a jury as in a competition, but I like it in theory. I like the similar names [name_u]Juri[/name_u] and [name_u]Yuri[/name_u] (But pronounced YOO-ree)!

Quite courthouse-y for me.

I never knew the word was tied to competition. The more you know.

That’s just my first association, but it’s probably more tied to court, as mentioned above.

I prefer justice not sure if would like that :purple_heart::black_heart:

Jury is a bit too much like, well, a courthouse jury. I prefer the similar [name_u]Jory[/name_u] (but now I think about it, Jury is cool - what was it a nn for?)

Not keen, just makes me think ‘judge and jury’

I kind of like the sound but it reminds me of judge and jury. If it wasn’t for that, I would find it significantly more usable.

Also just makes me think of a courthouse, not a fan sorry

I just think of a courthouse too unfortunately

Too judicial system for me. I keep wanting to say “the jury is out.” Which I could see getting old fast if that was a name.

They never used his full name actually. This guy was a club president, a leader. everyone had different nicknames and was in this biker gang. Not that I’d name anyone after a biker gang, just appreciating it for its difference and uniqueness.

Honestly I don’t mind it! It does make me think of courts/legal proceedings but the sound is cool and it reminds me of [name_u]Jory[/name_u], [name_u]July[/name_u], and [name_m]Drury[/name_m], all of which I like. I think if I met a Jury in real life I wouldn’t find it that odd – it would be easy to get used to.

Also, there are people named [name_m]Judge[/name_m] so why not Jury too?
