Just curious

Would you ever name twin boys [name_m]Ferris[/name_m] and [name_m]Harris[/name_m]? Im not expecting, just wondering. [name_m]Harris[/name_m] is a name that’s favoured for newborns or converts in Islam (I’m muslim) and [name_m]Ferris[/name_m] is a strong name in my culture.

I like both but I don’t think I’d ever use them together (like [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] and [name_u]River[/name_u] - which I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] individually) Too matchy?

Yeah, too matchy. Any of them on their own, though, or [name_m]Ferris[/name_m] and [name_u]River[/name_u], or [name_m]Harris[/name_m] and [name_m]Forrest[/name_m]!

Too matchy. I like elvissax suggestion of [name_m]Harris[/name_m] & [name_m]Forrest[/name_m]!

I think it’s way to matchy too.

They’re so matchy I find it kind of funny (and cheesy). Mix them up a bit like the pp has stated.

[name_m]Just[/name_m] curious - what is it about [name_m]Harris[/name_m] that makes it such an attractive choice for Muslims?

It was favoured by the Prophet, and I think it’s one of the two names he specifically voiced his liking for. It also means protector of the home in Arabic.

Thanks for the info! That’s what I love about Nameberry - I learn something new each day!

No. They are too matchy and I’m not a fan of those type of names for twins.

[name_m]Way[/name_m] to matchy. [name_f]Imagine[/name_f] how confusing it would get calling for them, and even more so if they were identical.

Honestly, no I’d never use them together, though if I loved them enough I wouldn’t mind so much using them as middles for the boys, and giving them each their own individual and not-at-all-similar firsts.

I agree with everyone else. [name_m]Ferris[/name_m] and [name_m]Harris[/name_m] are way too matchy. If they are “must haves”, I’d use one as a first name and the other as a middle name.
