[name_m]Just[/name_m] for fun, I’d like to see what combos you all would create for me with my top 10(-12) names. (I’ll do the same in the boys forum.) You don’t have to do all of them, either; just whatever sparks a combination.
You have free choice, so don’t use the names in my signature because those are all first names. I already have a list of possibilities for each name, but I’m really interested to get a new perspective. I’d really like to see some single and double middle combos, too.
[name_f]Georgiana[/name_f]
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] or [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] (it’s a toss up here)
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Elinor[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Sybil[/name_f]
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Sofia[/name_f] or [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] (another toss up)
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
And if you could explain some of your combos, too, that would be nice:)
I don’t particularly like [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f], and because I always keep in mind that the child will be called the first name, I don’t make combos with names I don’t like. I have the mindset that even if the combo sounds beautiful, the child will be known as its first name, and if I don’t like the first name alone, then why bother creating a combo? However, now I’ve realized that if it sounds nice and the thread starter likes the name, why not.
I think that we should take advantage of girls’ first names that don’t end in A because it gives so many opportunities to use middle names that end in A, whereas with first names that end in A don’t typically sound as nice with a middle name that ends in an A as well. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is the exception because I think it sounds lovely.
For some reason, middle names ending in the ‘ee’ sound pair so well with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. I also find that names that repeat the ‘ar’ sound in [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] actually sound nice as middles.
I find that [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is a name that flows very well with many names. I prefer longer middles with the first name [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] because my cat’s name is [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and I think if the middles are mor elaborate, it sounds more human and charming.
I think that [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] sounds like such a bundled-up name (the blanket kind of bundled-up) so word names that sound loose and flowy pair well with it. I prefer the spelling [name_f]Sophia[/name_f].
I always thought [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] to be a noble-sounding name, so I think it pairs well with other names I consider to be charming and higher-up names.
