Just in case it's twins!

multiples run in my family… my grandmother was one, and so was her grandmother. none of my generation have yet to produce twins, and they’re all looking at me now that i’m expecting.

maybe the fact that i married a twin has something to do with it, lol…

either way, with our first ultrasound coming up soon, i thought i’d throw into the ring my considerations for twin names–what do you think?

girl/girl:

aurelia noelle (nn: rory, which is also my father-in-law’s name)

and

amelie corinne (nn: mia)

boy/boy:

donovan zachary (in honor of the husband’s deceased grandfather donald, and my deceased brother noah zachary)

and

jameson andrew (andrew is honor of my husband’s twin brother)

girl/boy:

laura elizabeth (nn: libby - elizabeth is a family name, and laura elizabeth was the full name of laura ingalls wilder, my favorite childhood author)

and

william barret (nn: liam - barret is my husband’s middle name, and his mother’s maiden name)

thoughts?

suggestions?

prayers for the sake of my small, non-childbearing hips that it’s just one baby?

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Aurelia[/name], and [name]Amelie[/name] is lovely. The only problem is that they’re a little bit matchy together. [name]Donavan[/name] is nice, but I prefer [name]James[/name] to [name]Jameson[/name] since I’m not a fan of surnames as first names. I love [name]William[/name]! Since [name]Laura[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] would be nicknamed [name]Libby[/name] anyway, why not [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Laura[/name]?

[name]Laura[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is our baby girl’s name. The only thing I don’t like about it is that E is not the best middle initial, especially for [name]Laura[/name]. When it is all lumped together LauraE (like in an email address, on an airplane ticket, etc.), it looks like [name]Laurie[/name], a name that I really don’t like. So I sometime wish we had picked a different middle name.
