Just planning ahead! Sister for Lucy & Henry...

Hey, Berries! I’m not a mom yet but I have names planned ahead, like I’m sure many of you do/did. The ones I have set are:
[name]Henry[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] ([name]Henry[/name] is my favorite name & To Kill a Mockingbird is my favorite book)
[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Sarah[/name] (I’m a huge huge [name]Narnia[/name] fan and my best friend in the whole wide world is named [name]Sarah[/name])

For a second boy I like:
[name]Elias[/name] [name]Keats[/name] ([name]Elias[/name] could change…I’m not set on it, but [name]John[/name] [name]Keats[/name] is my favorite poet)

As you can tell, I like shorter names (longer ones don’t bother me, though…I love [name]Annabelle[/name]). I am also an English Literature major!

[name]Favorite[/name] books I would name my kids after a character:
[name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name] – I am a DIEHARD Potterfan
[name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name]
Hunger Games --I do like [name]Primrose[/name] as a middle name
[name]Alice[/name]'s Adventures in Wonderland

Any sugggestions??

I love these names! [name]Henry[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] is adorable! [name]One[/name] suggestion instead of [name]Elias[/name] (I’m not a big fan, but that’s just me) is [name]Edmund[/name]. Like you I love [name]John[/name] [name]Keats[/name], and apparently there’s some reference in one of his letters to [name]Fanny[/name] Brawne about if he could rename himself he would name himself [name]Edmund[/name], since [name]John[/name] is so plain. So if you want a full-tilt [name]Keats[/name]-inspired name, I think [name]Edmund[/name] [name]Keats[/name] is perfect.

For [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name]-themed boys names I love:
[name]Percival[/name] (one of Dumbledore’s MNs) with nn [name]Percy[/name]
[name]Seamus[/name] ([name]Finnigan[/name], which could also work as a FN)
[name]Neville[/name] (Longbottom)
[name]Arthur[/name] (Weasley)
[name]Ignatius[/name] ([name]Percy[/name] Weasley’s MN)
[name]Oliver[/name] ([name]Wood[/name])

For [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name], I only have one: [name]Fitzwilliam[/name] ([name]Darcy[/name]). I love the nn [name]Fitz[/name] for this, but I’m not sure if I’m adventurous enough to use it! As far as Hunger Games goes, Finnick is a little to adventurous for me but I think the name [name]Finn[/name] is adorable, even as a MN. I also love [name]Gale[/name]'s last name, [name]Hawthorne[/name]. I think it would make an adorable MN.

So my suggestions therefore are:
[name]Fitzwilliam[/name] [name]Arthur[/name] or [name]Arthur[/name] [name]Fitzwilliam[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name] [name]Finn[/name] (I actually love this)
[name]Edmund[/name] [name]Keats[/name]
[name]Neville[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name]

What do you think of [name]Rowena[/name] [name]Jane[/name]?

[name]Edmund[/name] [name]Keats[/name] is absolutely amazing!! I do love [name]Seamus[/name], too, but my best friend is naming her son that =) [name]Finn[/name] is also taken by another friend. I do also love [name]Neville[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name] ([name]Scarlet[/name] Letter is amazing). Thanks!!

Wow!! Thanks for such a long reply! [name]Rowena[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is gorgeous, and my great grandmother’s middle name was actually [name]Jane[/name]! I actually did think about [name]Rowena[/name] once, and calling her [name]Winnie[/name]–my other great grandmother! I had never thought of that! =D
Of your other suggestions, I love [name]Elinor[/name], but [name]Ellie[/name] is too popular and we just named our new kitten [name]Ellie[/name]! I also love [name]Catherine[/name], but if I named my daughter that it would have to be spelt [name]Kathryn[/name] (my mom and great grandmother). I do also love, love, love [name]Rue[/name] <3
