[name]Giselle[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]! It’s gorgeous. You loved it and you shouldn’t doubt it just because someone else doesn’t love it. It’s so elegant!
While I love [name]Estelle[/name], I absolutely despise the name [name]Edith[/name]. It’s just way too old lady; it doesn’t give me a pretty image at all and I don’t see the appeal. I know an absolutely dreadful [name]Edith[/name] nn [name]Edie[/name], and after knowing her I would never be able to get behind the name [name]Edith[/name].
[name]Edith[/name] [name]Estelle[/name], if you plan on calling her [name]Edie[/name]. [name]Edie[/name] is adorable and I love [name]Estelle[/name]! [name]Edith[/name] is growing on me though. I am huge Downton [name]Abbey[/name] fan! <3
Giselle Victoria is nice and safe, but Edith Estelle is so much nicer!
Definitely stick with [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]! It’s a very graceful name, and it certainly beats [name]Edith[/name], which sounds really frumpy to me.
My husbands pretty stuck on [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] and I loved it too until I saw my [name]SIL[/name]'s reaction. This is why I hate telling people the baby’s name before she’s here! I was planning on announcing it at my shower with a cute little game but now I’m not so sure…
[name]Giselle[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]. It’s a beautiful name.
Stick with [name]Giselle[/name]
I used to be iffy about [name]Giselle[/name] but now I love it- thanks to the awesome movie Enchanted!
And I’m pretty sure [name]Edith[/name] will get a far worse reaction than [name]Giselle[/name]
[name]Giselle[/name].
Your husband loves it. You loved it enough to be 100% sure just a little bit ago. I would be bummed if my favorite name didn’t get a good reaction from a family member too, but I wouldn’t change it. What if she loves [name]Edith[/name] and another family member wrinkles their nose?
[name]Just[/name] because she’s your [name]SIL[/name] doesn’t mean she has taste in names. My [name]SIL[/name] has a [name]Jessica[/name]. NMS at all.
Go with what you like.
I wouldn’t announce it though just incase a different name comes to you after she is born.
I also like [name]Estelle[/name] [name]Victoria[/name].
I’d stick with your original name, your [name]SIL[/name] will love her niece when she arrives.
But I do like the combination of [name]Edith[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]!
I like [name]Edith[/name] [name]Estelle[/name] a lot. Very vintagy, and I love the sweet nn [name]Edie[/name]. I used to think [name]Edith[/name] was still really outdated, but I’ve really come to appreciate it since I’ve joined Nameberry. I would love to meet a little [name]Edith[/name].
I have grown to love [name]Edith[/name] as well! I would say you should definitely go for [name]Edith[/name] [name]Estelle[/name]. The nickname [name]Edie[/name] is absolutely adorable, and vintage is just SO stylish, not to mention cute and unique! [name]Estelle[/name] is a elegant, graceful name that flows well with [name]Edith[/name]. Sorry about this, but I really, really, really don’t like [name]Giselle[/name]. It gives me a bucktoothed, sickly-sweet image. [name]Giselle[/name] sounds like gazelle. My vote is definitely [name]Edith[/name] [name]Estelle[/name].
My vote goes for [name]Edith[/name] [name]Estelle[/name]. I usually don’t care for alliteration, but I think that combo is so spunky and sweet! [name]Giselle[/name] just isn’t my style, it reminds me of the [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Secret[/name] model or a gazelle.
[name]Hope[/name] that helps!
Definitely the glamorous [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]. It’s a beautiful combination, and far more exciting than [name]Edith[/name].
I wouldn’t change your name choice based on your sister-in-law’s reaction. Go with the name you love best! If you do decide to change it, I vote for [name]Estelle[/name] [name]Victoria[/name].
I love [name]Giselle[/name]. So pretty and elegant. [name]Edith[/name] feels to me like its trying too hard to drive the vintage point home. And that’s coming from a person that loves names that end in -th.
100% [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]. [name]Love[/name] [name]Giselle[/name] and [name]Victoria[/name]. Not crazy over [name]Edith[/name]. [name]Estelle[/name] is ok.
[name]Don[/name]'t second guess…[name]Giselle[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] is beautiful! Much better than [name]Edith[/name] [name]Estelle[/name]. Your little girl will love you for giving her that name! Could your [name]SIL[/name] just be a bit jealous of that gorgeous name? Stick with it!
[name]Edith[/name] [name]Estelle[/name] would be my pick, but [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] is just as lovely. Who cares what your sister in law thinks.
Definitely [name]Giselle[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]. I don’t get the appeal of [name]Edith[/name] or [name]Estelle[/name]. Neither sound youthful or even pretty to me.
