I heard it today at work and for some reason it caught my attention. Like, I’m not sure if I like it or not but something about it stuck with me.
So, what do you think of the name [name_m]Justus[/name_m]?

I know a [name_m]Justus[/name_m], he’s my age, high school. Not my favorite person. People will assume you are saying [name_u]Justice[/name_u].
I agree with @kipperbo1, people will probably assume you’re saying [name_u]Justice[/name_u]. I don’t think it’s unusable, though.
I know a [name_m]Justus[/name_m] as well. I used to think it was a kre8tiv spelling of [name_u]Justice[/name_u] until I informed myself. I think it’s a nice, historical alternative to the much more popular [name_m]Justin[/name_m].
I had a professor in college whose first name was [name_m]Justus[/name_m]. He was a film instructor and just a very cool, artsy guy, so my associations with the name are quite positive. In general I tend to like older names and definitely prefer it to [name_m]Justin[/name_m].
I love it! Like [name_m]Julius[/name_m], it’s a cool, weighty, slightly edgy traditional name for me, but I know many find them too stodgy/nerdy.
Cool, thanks people! It’s very unusual here where I live, and I’ve never heard someone being called that name before. I think I’m starting to like it
