I once had a dance teacher named Kymry. Is that name used or known on nameberry or in the world?
Never heard it before. It’s cool!
Her last name sounded very Scandinavian so maybe it is from there.

I know of a toddler named Kimmrie but that’s the only time I’ve heard something similar.

Hmm, I thought it sounded familiar, so I googled, and apparently, Kymry (or Cymry) was used to describe [name_m]Wales[/name_m] and Welsh people!
Alternatively, I’m thinking it could just be a play on [name_u]Kimberly[/name_u]

I don’t care for [name_u]Kimberly[/name_u] much, but I think Kymry is interesting.

I’ve known of it once as an alternative to [name_u]Kimberly[/name_u]. It was spelled Kimrie.
I like it!
