Karen or Caryn

Which spelling of this name do you prefer I love it and I prefer it spelled [name_f]Karen[/name_f] I don’t care about the association I can look past it and I still love it regardless.

Is [name_f]Karen[/name_f] not also care-in? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you mean the emphasis is on a different syllable? In my accent, they’re both care-in.

[name_f]Karen[/name_f] looks better to me. I do know a lovely [name_f]Carolyn[/name_f] so maybe [name_f]Caryn[/name_f] is nice if you also know one :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I pronounce [name_f]Karen[/name_f] as kah-rehn and [name_f]Caryn[/name_f] is intuitively kah-rin for me. I prefer the [name_f]Caryn[/name_f] spelling, through

In the uk, its Ka-rin, caryn is Care-in
