[name_f]Kate[/name_f] to me is a very sturdy and classic name: I would imagine a [name_f]Kate[/name_f] to be practical, reliable, and also a bit of a realist!
I also imagine a [name_f]Kate[/name_f] to be whip-smart and witty!
Honestly, [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is so versatile I feel like it could fit any kind of girl!!

Its just so simple, sophisticated and timeless to me. I think it ages well. I like that its an alternative to [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] which im not so drawn to.

[name_f]Kate[/name_f] is gorgeous a lovely strong classic that feels timeless, has the lovely meaning ‘pure’, she feels graceful and strong. Surprisingly low ranking currently within the UK for baby girls she ranks at 734 in the popularity charts so it would be rare to come across a baby [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. It’s such an added bonus when you have classic gems like [name_f]Kate[/name_f] which are rarely used nowadays. I can picture a [name_f]Kate[/name_f] being an introvert with long red curly hair very creative with a passion for books.
I haven’t actually met a ‘just Kate’ in a long while - a few Katies, but no Kates 
[name_f]Kate[/name_f] is strong, sweet and versatile - she could easily be the girl from a ‘charming’ classic novel (thinking [name_u]Anne[/name_u] of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables and [name_m]Little[/name_m] Women), but also a high-flying city girl.
I think Kate is a special name! She is so classic and so cordial, but she’s not at all tired! She’s a sort of name that really fits any kind of person.
I know I’ve written about them before in a comment, but I know (and know of) girls named Kate with all sorts of personalities and interests, and all of them are Kate to a T! A violinist in glasses whose hair is always neatly done; an earnest little girl with dreams to be a singer onstage; a lively archer, equal parts caring and clumsy with a winning smile; a mother of adventurous children who cares much more about her church than any current trends; the eldest sister in a family of six, who wears a wicker hat, has the most elegant posture, has a no nonsense air about her.
Kate is the capital name of versatility!
