Katherine or Catherine?

Hiya~
My best friend is having a baby girl! What do you think of those name combination? K or C? Thanks a lot:cool:

[name]Katherine[/name] Tingyu [name]Chen[/name]
[name]Catherine[/name] Tingyu [name]Chen[/name]

I prefer [name]Katherine[/name] with a K.

I prefer [name]Catherine[/name] in general, but the alliteration of [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Chen[/name] makes me love it all the more! I love it.

I prefer [name]Catherine[/name], but if you plan on calling her [name]Katie[/name], then I’d go with [name]Katherine[/name]

I love both spellings, but [name]Catherine[/name] is my favorite.

Agreed! I’ve always preferred [name]Catherine[/name], and I especially like it with your last name!

I prefer [name]Catherine[/name], along with [name]Cate[/name] and [name]Catie[/name].

I prefer [name]Catherine[/name]

[name]Katherine[/name] with a K for me!

I love [name]Catherine[/name] and the alliteration with the surname makes it even better in my opinion!

I agree with this!

I prefer [name]Kathryn[/name] or [name]Catherine[/name]. Though I think that with last name [name]Chen[/name] Chatherine is probably best. Plus it will allow for Ceecee as a great nn.

[name]Catherine[/name] : )

[name]Catherine[/name]. Normally I don’t care for alliterative names, but [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Chen[/name] looks great to me.

[name]Catherine[/name]. [name]Katherine[/name] looks to “hard” to me.

I normally prefer the sweet and classic [name]Catherine[/name]. But I like [name]Katherine[/name] better for this combo- it looks more exotic, like Tingyu is.

[name]Catherine[/name]/[name]Katherine[/name] are both acceptable spellings but in this case I think [name]Catherine[/name] fits better with the middle and last name.
