had the urge to make a combo with three middles and this is what I came up with.
what do y’all think of [name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u]?
had the urge to make a combo with three middles and this is what I came up with.
what do y’all think of [name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u]?
I think its sweet and soft, like a bouquet of wildflowers. I do, however, feel like [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_u]Marie[/name_u] could be a bit redundant as [name_f]May[/name_f] is a common diminutive of [name_f]Mary[/name_f] names, but I don’t think most would see that or care. The flow is good too; a lot of times three+ middles can have an odd cadence but I think [name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] hits it just right so it actually sounds like a name imo
I actually decided to do [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] after two Mary’s,
[name_f]May[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] also feels redundant to me, and I think the names sound a little cutesy next to one another, so I’d much prefer the sound and aesthetic of [name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] or [name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u], but I do really like the stately [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] with the more casual [name_f]Katie[/name_f]!
It feels like a lively, bright combo, quite cheerful and energetic. I am kind of saying it as if [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_u]Marie[/name_u] are almost one name smooshed together though
kind of one of the reasons I went with [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u]
I agree that [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is a bit of a mouthful, but if it makes you happy, go for it! [name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is so lovely
(Funny enough, [name_f]Katie[/name_f] is my name, [name_u]Marie[/name_u] is my middle, and I was almost named Virginia!)
I kinda love it! To me the [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] bit feels like a double barrel, which helps the flow.
I prefer “just” [name_f]Kate[/name_f] to [name_f]Katie[/name_f], but I still do like the combo as it is.
[name_f]Kinda[/name_f] reminds me of the movie [name_f]Martha[/name_f] [name_f]Marcy[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_f]Marlene[/name_f]!
I think it’s very pretty but do agree with the others on it being a bit smooshed… maybe moving it around a bit like [name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] or [name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] . A lovely combo, indeed!
I thought about it but decided it sounds wrong
I can understand that. Regardless, it’s a gorgeous name! Sounds so regal , elegant and sophisticated.
