I would pronounce [name_f]Kaya[/name_f] as [name_u]KAY[/name_u]-a, probably because of [name_f]Kayla[/name_f].

[name_f]Kaia[/name_f] most definitely. I’d also pronounce [name_f]Kaya[/name_f] as kay-ah thanks to [name_f]Kayla[/name_f].

I prefer the look of [name_f]Kaia[/name_f] visually, and I think [name_f]Kaya[/name_f] would be pronounced wrong for how you want it to be said.

I prefer [name_f]Kaya[/name_f] because that is the version that I am familiar with from the American Girl doll :stuck_out_tongue:

I had a student named [name_f]Kaia[/name_f]…it was pronounced…[name_m]Ky[/name_m]-A-uh…supposedly the Hawaiian pronunciation? I would pronounce [name_f]Kaya[/name_f] like your desired pronunciation.
